As I knew the score had been picked up by Mondo I was listening out for it, but it never really stood out. Maybe it's one of those ones that benefits from being heard away from the visuals, but having the visuals in mind when listening.

I find it strange that McCreary's work on the Walking Dead remains largely unreleased. It's probably the only part of the show that hasn't got a bit lazy - I think the last 2 or 3 seasons have had many highlights, musically. It's strange that his score for a show like Outlander is out there, but TWD isn't, other than a couple of tracks.
I always assumed that the licensing was too expensive, or that AMC (which I assume own the rights to the music) didn't want to let someone release the music, because they might do something with it down the line.

I hear you, but surely there would have been no better time to release it than the last few years. One of the biggest shows on TV, scores being relatively popular, etc. I can't see more copies being sold of 'The Walking Dead: Season 5' in years to come, so I think the ship has sailed. I think there were 2 volumes of the 'soundtrack' - I can't imagine those being massive sellers - it doesn't add up to me. I suppose Breaking Bad didn't have many 'volumes' - maybe AMC just don't see the market. Or don't understand it.

Missed this library music re-issue/compilation one at the time, but subsequently picked up on Discogs.

Knew with Jon Brooks of The Advisory Circle fame featuring alongside library aficionado Mr Trunk this would be an interesting one...

This turned out to be quite nice, I didn't remember the score after I watched the movie but when Mondo announced the title I thought I needed this anyway, seeing as how I really enjoyed that movie. The main title that repeats through the score is a great melody of mystery. Lots of tension buildups, thrilling bursts of danger, it's an overall great score.
Loved 10 Cloverfield Lane, and noticed how good the score was in the theatre - have been saving my pennies and waiting for the time to pick this up (a Mondo title will typically cost me between £40-£45 shipped to the UK) and happily it arrived today. Spinning now, and the groovy silver/red striped wax actually sounds just fine. Full blooded science fiction/suspense scoring by Mr McCreary, a great entry into feature film scoring!

Excellent spins BPWlogan!

Also love that Death and Vanilla - on my wish list since whenever but for some reason never picked it up. I believe there is also a tape version of this.

This morning I was listening to the new Mondo mix on soundcloud. Trying to get all of the tracks :-) Bloody difficult are the DWO ones. I was comparing with bandcamp, youtube and other soundcloud streams to see if I could figure out what was what... Someone else (and Little Walter) already had most of them...
Great listen though.
Nothing of the Faces of Death score was in there though. I think...
