Currently obsessed with this after picking up in my local....
Lena Platonos, Galop: re-issue of Greek synth lp from '85 on Dark Entries Records
Apart from her voice - in which she sings/ narrates/ intones entirely in Greek - the whole record is composed electronically, giving it a spacey, otherworldly feeling that is both futuristic and almost ahistorical. And while I haven't a notion what she's saying, her poetry and spirit shine through, making the album sound alien yet intimate and warm, as if she's speaking directly to the analog receptors in your brain. This is definitely an album you FEEL your way around intuitively. Massive recommendation.
Available through Juno in the UK or the label if Stateside, >>here<<
