While I’m here - my highest recommendation for a creepy new movie: EXIT 8. It’s a Japanese film based on a game (apparently), but honestly DON’T watch the trailer and go in cold, just take my word for it: if you like head scratching existential/liminal horror that genuinely gets under your skin this is fantastic. I loved it. For reference points I’d say Vivarium, 1408, Jacob’s Ladder, Luis Bunuel, Sole Survivor…. the ‘trapped in a surreal situation’ sub genre!

Or did you catch it in theaters?I got sent a screener link (with watermark unfortunately) I wish I’d seen it in a theatre tbh.
