And big thumbs up on the Phantasm!
Everyday Dust is a good dude. I chat with him on IG about movies and scores. Ordering from CiS right now is just too expensive so I had to skip this release even though I really enjoyed the sample songs they put up. That album's history is interesting it was originally going to be a score to a film and he started work on it but the film fell apart. He ended up returning to it an a later point and finishing it even though there is no movie.
Ahh, right, Inks been posting CiS releases. If you get a second chance to get The Vale, I'd say do so. Really enjoyable.

@static has it in his VS collection also. We have him to thank for the reissue because as soon as he got his copy VS announce their reissue. :)

Speaking of reasonable, my last newbie today just goes to show that great original score LPs really don't have to cost you a kidney. I really like this little Canadian late 70s crime thriller (with Elliott Gould, and Chris Plummer in a creepy bad dude role) and had no idea the score had been pressed - found by chance going thru the store of the seller I snagged the Budd from, looking for other cheap gets to throw in the order. This was a few quid and is pretty damn wonderful.

Matt, take a look at the spine on Hardware and see if you notice anything off? :)

@Static - Heh, yep. Gets me every time. I don't care who you are, everyone could use a little more D in their life.

@Tex - That's a sexy OG right there. Congrats.

Man I want Hardware so bad nice one.
Pate, it's a terribly fun and atmospheric listen. I forget how immersive it is almost every time I spin it. It's also very much a product of it's time which of course I have no issue with.

One day I hope to track down a copy or maybe one day Varese Sarabande will finally issue it on vinyl with the proper art. Is this version expanded? If so I would probably need both.

Indeed, sir, and it's just the score. It's Boswell's own release, "Reactivated. Re-edited. Remastered" I actually kind of like the VS cover, but you cannot beat this release for content in my opinion.

Absolutely agree with Mateo here, it's a fantastic listen. I picked up a copy from @deafmetal last year (or maybe the year before? it all blends together)
