Inspired by the VS thread. Kind of dig the double 10-in format, with score and songs on separate discs.

I gotta thank you & Tim for always playing this. A copy was available for a great price so I checked out some samples & took the plunge immediately. This particular track, as the kids say, slaps.

Some discussion of this Morricone in the VS thread. Has a late 70’s thriller/noir vibe with an uncredited Edda Dell’Orso dropping those timeless wordless vocals on the main/love themes. Copies are plentiful and easy to find, recommended.

I've neither heard nor seen this, Deaf. Will investigate.

Same, I’ve been curious since seeing it in a few collections over these last few days

I have to say Reddye that you play some very interesting scores. A lot of the times I don't know them but I am always intrigued.

This was the first VS I bought.

That Everyday Dust is on the Castles in Space label, which I think you've played some of their releases. I'm almost done listening, and it's really nice. Very Carpenter-esque.

And big thumbs up on the Phantasm!

Everyday Dust is a good dude. I chat with him on IG about movies and scores. Ordering from CiS right now is just too expensive so I had to skip this release even though I really enjoyed the sample songs they put up. That album's history is interesting it was originally going to be a score to a film and he started work on it but the film fell apart. He ended up returning to it an a later point and finishing it even though there is no movie.
