"It get's tough sometimes to keep up with distributors & labels you have to constantly babysit. We contacted our distro looks like they forgot about us. As a courtesy they are going to send us copies of the dvd for us to give to customers. We should have it in stock shortly. All orders will ship immediately upon arrival. That's nice that they responded to your email. I ordered two LP's from them 11/25, both stated they were in stock. Last week I decided to email them to see what was going on, no response, emailed them on monday of this week, no response. Finally order was marked shipped on Wed and they sent an email "sorry been under the weather". How does it take 4 weeks to ship product? On top of that he was posting to Facebook and Instagram last week about shipping out the Brass Hearse records. This has compounded my frustration with them since my John Carpenter Anthology LP took 5 weeks from release date to delivery at my door step which I pre-ordered 2 months in advance.

@ScoJo - Sergio Corbucci directing Jean-Louis Trintignant and Klaus Kinski in a snow-covered Italian-French spaghetti western, and it just happens to feature a fine-cut gem of a Morricone score with some really beautiful orchestrations. The OG '68 album on Parade is very difficult to find, and it was also reissued by Beat Records ten years later in multiple pressings as the first release in their Collector's Series (CR-1). Those reissues all sell for ~$100+ USD though. Thankfully, Dagored reissued the album last year as well.

If you are a fan of Morricone or Western scores it is a must own. Honestly I haven't been able to see the film yet and just became obsessed with the score a few years ago.

Highly recommend the film. lots of white (snow) followed by lots red (blood). I'm not a western aficionado but would say don't be put off by the lack of directorial finesse most are familiar with from Leone. The story and build up through the movie is great all the way to the very end.

And agreed one of my fave morricone scores.

Oh it's on my list, although I'm waiting patiently for a bluray. The DVD is decent from what I can tell and there is a Japanese bluray of it as well but that's just an upscale of the DVD and not a true HD source. I really want to see it but I have enough movies that I've bought and haven't watched yet to make the wait a little better.

I listened to that Akira release today and it's fantastic. The sound was better than I expected. The packaging is beautiful as well. Really happy with it.

Corbucci is Leone without the “restraint” if that even makes sense. The dollars trilogy are without a doubt the jewel of that genre, but for my money the next bunch in a top ten would probably be his. Navajo joe, Django, the great silence, and the mercenary are all fantastic.

I listened to the Friday the 13th Part IV LP from Waxworks last night, it's a thing of beauty. I do feel like they ripped us off though, it's double LP at 45RPM, this could have easily been one LP at 33 but then they would not have been able to charge $36. The packaging is beautiful, the matte finish contrasted with the gloss of the blood and mask is quite stunning in person and pictures online don't really do it justice. Highly recommended for those that are fans of the series.
