An interesting vinyl pairing for fans of giallo film scores...

Have yet to work out whether these are a homage to said scores - i.e 'in the style of' - like Orgasmo Sonore's Themes International project - or simply re-recordings of rare giallo score cues

Either way the music is well played and recorded and is currently floating my boat.

Attractive screen print style covers and a booklet (in French) with each too.

More interesting sounds on vinyl, recently picked up...

The Satoshi & Makoto (a pair of Japanese twins, so the story goes) is not a score per se... but with a blissed out spacey vibe and plenty of Casio keyboard action it could well be a lost score to an 80s sci-fi flick...

The 'Rock' score manages to sound both retro and fiercely contemporary at the same time... perhaps because a lot of contemporary electronic artists are also using the same EMS Synthi A modular device pictured on the rear of the sleeve (?)

I've still never finished this show. I'll get around to it soon. Does the score stand up on its own?

This Winterland Hendrix box is super stuff, I'm so glad the rights legal battle finally ended a few years back. Currently spinning disc 6 side B: Hey Joe, Purple Haze and Wild Thing live cuts.

^ @Deaf, that is very high on my wish list, and probably will always remain there.
@ Static: great spins again. Love that Raw Deal.
@ Spun: Giallo Oscuro sounds very interesting. I had a quick look and listen on their bandcamp page and definitely like what I heard there.

Now some more time with my new acquisitions.
Halfway side A of this one and I like it very much:
