Have had this near the deck for the last couple of days after some chatter here about it.
Bloomin' top stuff. Praise be to AMS for the re-issues we've received in recent years.

Listening to one record after the other (currently NOES 1) and feeling very happy after having moved house and now having my setup up and running. I actually thought my turntable got damaged during transport as everything stayed dead quiet after my first needle drop (and a long day of unpacking) but turned out to be just be a loose cable (took me some time to figure that out, though).
Anyhow, life is good.

static I agree...I have only been playing it for about 15 hours. I really like that it is not too sharp on top but still detailed. The bass also seems just about right. Overall a great listen...nothing too signature.

I’m actually with you on exorcist 2, objectively it’s a mess, but yeah it’s super fun at times and without fail I’ll watch it within a few weeks of watching the first one

A buddy of mine were discussing the ninth gate the other day and will never understand the Lukewarm reception that movie gets, I think it’s a masterpiece of tone and pacing. Might be my favorite depp role and one of my all time favorite performances from langella. Also it was a huge influence on me in high school and college, I was a part time book dealer in college and pretty much dressed like that, a lot of trying to go in that direction professionally was basically Corso cosplay if I’m honest with myself, and that industry is CRAZY weird, especially in New York. Sometimes I wish it had worked out but mostly I think I made better career choices haha.

Now, while I will not argue against the horrible reeves miscast, BSD is legit one of my favorite movies otherwise and if I see you at the frizzi show in New York next Sunday I may just have some words about it hahahaha. Seriously though if you are going to the Sunday show let’s get a drink and talk about the heretic and the ninth gate.
