Egisto Macchi's Fauna Marina is on Spotify! Wow ever since I listened to mr Trunks mix of library I've been wanting to listen to that.

Also Sonor is putting out digitally a whole lot - Alessandroni's Ritmo dell'industria and a good obscure one Edmondo Giuliano Il Mare. I'm really liking those three now - just getting into them.

I'm noticing a lot of Leonardi albums going digital--?

Noticed Filippi's Ritmicolor is up....! I gotta check everything now!

holy fuck America Giovanne n2 is up. Can anyone shed some light on this treasure coming from Leonardi??? This is bizarre. A company called Pirames international SRL is publishing this, quick google says they have bad reputation.

EDIT EVEN MORE.

it seems almost EVERY Leonardi records album is now on Spotify. I'm compiling every one on a list

It's very quiet at work so I got time to stream the full Werewolf Woman and it's good, It's as good as I remember from last year when I watched the movie for the first time and was thinking ''wow I hope the music gets released on vinyl at some point''. I was wondering about the composer, Lallo gori. The only thing that seems to have been released on wax is the FOUR FLIES record of the '' Come Svaligiammo La Banca D'Italia'' score, and 3 tracks on 3 separate semi autmatic compilations (Ecstasy of Gold and Library of Sound Grooves).

I hope our favorite labels plan on digging some more in his past output and get us some forgotten gems.

Not been around in a while. I'm trying to cut my budget, which means trying to ignore this forum!

I eventually picked this up digitally (the @spun version, but I also got the 'vinyl only' bonus tracks separately). Beautiful stuff. I think it's this year's 'Reality Check' for me - not that they sound the same, but that it's a complete revelation how good it is, and everyone should have it.

I've seen a few people making October a month of horror soundtracks and scores. I'm a bit late in starting, but what a way to start.

Y'know @ScoJo, I only intended on listening to a side or two, but I'll be damned if I didn't listen to that thing all the way to the end. It hooks you in.

Now for this:

Nice spins @Chief - and appreciate the support re: Maine above - he is quite the talented chap, so I hope many more discover his music - the 'sharing' is what it's all about, after all!

Hope the two Cassette Store Day releases this coming Sat don't harm the wallet too much. I keep telling myself I'm cutting down on the vinyl re-issues, but - somehow - they seem to keep arriving with the postie ;)

I know that feeling @spun. I tend to be 'good' for about 3 weeks and then have a complete blowout because it feels like ages since I've bought a record! I've limited myself to 2 this month - The Satanic Path and Carpenter's Anthology on preorder. Good luck with your CSD releases. Your label has become synonymous with top quality releases.

What a great comp this is. I have the CD, so didn't pick up the vinyl (maybe one day). It kills from start to finish.

Love that cover @spun. I embedded that image in my flac files - infinitely better than the alternative covers I've seen for it.

Another terrible cover for a worthwhile comp.

I couldn't fork out for the 8CD set, so this was my best alternative.

Would you say Spun's label has become...wait for it...synthnonymous with top quality releases, Chief?

Get the funk outta here @mateo!

I like it. I think you have a tag-line for future releases, @spun.

Another comp. Not my favourite from this series, but still glad for the recent repress to add it to my collection.

Spun out of control wrote:Must say, the 2X LP Mondo release is possibly my favourite cover of all they've done...
@Spun - Fully agreed. At MondoCon '15, I asked Randy Ortiz if he would be willing to sell the original, but he told me it was all done digitally! If Mondo ever released a print, I would be all over that.
