I've had a few (four?) Synergy records and they are all pretty interesting, but The Jupiter Menace is probably the one that gets spun the most.

PS - There is also a cassette edition of this score.

PPS - The other sweet spot, of the ones I've heard, is Computer Experiments Vol 1.

There's a big difference between winging it and seeing what happens. Now let's go see what happens.

A compilation is nothing new but I don't know of any others that have the continuity and cohesion that SNDTRK does. SNDTRK actually sounds like everyone worked together to make the album.

Dollar always love seeing the Japanese stuff you have! I know so little about that stuff.

I am spinning some Piccioni before bed: Swept Away by an Unusual Destiny in the Blue Sea of August. Really lovely stuff.

Anyone who's been wanting this to add to their vinyl collection should be pretty pleased. My copy is clean and pretty dang quiet. A few ticks and/or pops but nothing serious. This is before a spin on the RCM so that may even clear up once it gets a good cleaning. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Yeah good to hear. I've had Christine on pre-order for a couple of weeks. I'm not super impressed by the cover art but it's fine, I'm glad it's being re-issued and it's cheaply priced. Never heard the music before, I bought it blind and will discover how it is as soon as it arrives in the mail.

25 years ago 12-year old me popped the shrink on this CD. Feels good to have a copy on wax. Sounds awesome. Post just dropped this on the porch and couldn't have come at a better time. First time in 2 months I'm home without wife or baby. My parents fucking hated this album but kudos to them for letting me have it, big tits album art and all. Thunderkiss '65 is one of the best hard rock songs ever.

The owner of one of the local shops messaged me that he had it and asked if I was interested. Of course I said yes. It's different. Not sure how much play it will get but glad to have it in the collection. It's so nice when your shops know what you like.
