@Bez - Nice pulls... I have really been enjoying the Videogram project releases.

I just received my first package from Pure Destructive Records:

Enjoying this, and the pressing sounds clean and loud. #horrorsynthworship:

Also, looking forward to receiving Spettro Family and the Xtro OST from this new label. Hard to keep up with their releases already; Galaxy of Terror, Night of the Comet, and that TCM documentary as well.

That is an epic cover, though it does fill me with a sense of something I can't quite put my finger on.

i grabbed a cheap-arse copy of Simple Minds' New Gold Dream yesterday, and that is improving my mood.

I have a lot of noise in the run-in groove (or how do you call it) but when the music starts it is a very quiet pressing. I checked the vinyl for any pits or other things but looks perfect.
I'll edit my post when I have played all sides.

@static - Oooh, how does that sound?

ImageYou're one... ugly motherfucker

The mastering on this sounds incredible. The clarity of the orchestra is riveting with blaring, thudding brass and alien tribal percussion. A lot of the tracks move along at a really brisk tempo, with interposing military/war themes from horns and strings. I know this was on a few of our wishlists, but I did not expect to see it on vinyl, especially a double LP. The infrared version looks a bit like the Chrome logo -_-, and my copy has some faint rumble in parts, but it's not too noticeable against the loud pressing. I'm going to give it a good cleaning and a fresh listen and will report back.

I would be curious to hear how the hazy camo version sounds.
