Tomorrow's World is the only one I have. And I love the Synchronicity score. I posted about this elsewhere in here, but it didn't resonate with me when I initially previewed it. A few months later I streamed it based on some recommends and was blown away, both by the score and how I could've missed what it had to offer at first blush.

Hi @mateo

There's not actually a track (or artist) listing given, certainly not on the Library Sounds tape inlay itself - although it gives shout outs to Alfonso Carrillo and the Rendezvous LA crew - but here's some further background:

"New Library Sounds is a collection of works from many of today’s artists who are creating cinematic masterpieces without a script or featured actors but doing so by imagination and what feels right. What you are about to hear is just that, a cinematic expression that feels as though it should be a score to a film, one that’s filled with action and adventure, love and drama, hope and despair yet genre less at the same time. It’s a journey into the unknown but charting into familiar territory that places you in the center screen."

Just my bag, basically..!

As to what it sounds like, think slightly jazzy, groove based cuts, interlinked with bits of dialogue with a vague spy caper theme

Researching a little into Skeme Richards, who put this together, reveals he used to be a member of the Rock Steady Crew. Interesting guy, for sure

Couple more recent tape arrivals....

Basket Case landed courtesy of Transmission Records (and Terror Vision label) and Fear the Future Vol 1 Tokyo Nights is one of those typically synth wave sounding affairs picked up via Bandcamp that is actually a cut above the (sometimes quite cheesy) norm

^ love to, but shipping cassettes from the US is very costly. So I'll pass on your offer. But it is a great offer!

A couple of recent acquisitions that play like early 1970s Walter/Wendy Carlos...

Those who loved the score for A Clockwork Orange should find much to enjoy here.

Retro synth done very well IMHO.

The mysterious Nikmis on Third Kind Tapes.

She’s a d6c. I’ve taken to keeping it in a clothes draw because my flats a bit drafty. moisture keeps getting in and affecting the higher end. I bought two more DD Walkmans this week, I’ve been bitten by a bug...

That's a beautiful disease, sir. Do you know roughly what it's vintage is?

Serial is 106k, and they started production in the mid 80s... so I’d say between 87/88, possibly even ‘90.. I got it from a studio having a clear out for a snip! A lot can be done with some IPA cleaner and cotton buds tbh

And - I love how it handles my hd25s!! Cheap tape decks can’t do it. This sounds magical at times

It's a great machine, Max. I've always wanted a D6-C, but never found an old enough model that actually had the amorphous heads in good enough condition to take the leap. The lovely Mrs Sanboval bought me a WM-D6 and loads of original accessories for my birthday this year. All new in box. What a charmer she is.

Have to admit, I thought it was a bit of a cheesy purchase. But actually, it’s pretty fucking brilliant...

Out of curiosity, has anyone who bought the Burning Witches Halloween mix tape from Two Headed Dog had it sent yet, or did it go into backordered? I was able to buy it a minute or so after it went live on the site last week, along with the two SOOC releases. However, my Spun releases were shipped but not the Halloween mix. Was wondering if they even received them yet from BW.
