super sleazy rhythms perfect for your summer vacation, your cocktail party or your next private sex movie. the best goddamn thing about this record is that it's goddamn cheap as nobody is looking for it. goddamnit!!! how is it possible??? highly recommended.

for me in parts it sounds like a lost record by Rino De filippi that he has never made, haha! again some kind people have uploaded most of the album on youtube for our listening pleasure...

this one is really good. you would never expect it is german library when you hear it! according to discogs Juan Demonio is a Jurgen Franke pseudonym. beautiful latin vibes and super easy styles. my spanish is not the best but Esto Me Gusto should be something like after my fancy and that' exactly what it is. another one for a long hot summer...

still messing with the Golden Ring catalogue... last night i have played this spaced out trip by the great Peter Thomas. Orion 2000 is what you expect from a record like this. it's wild, psychedelic, beat-driven and has lots of great electronic effects. probably my favourite Peter Thomas record. i like this one more than Sound Music Album 5. a reissue from the Roundtable label exists, can't judge on sound quality though...

I am referring to track a1, "Secret Caves", suggested for "stalactite caverns, mountain lakes, vocanic lakes, clouds, astrology".
The topic apparently lent itself particularly well to mid-80s synth/ambient extravaganza. This is one I just stumbled over, there have to be plenty more. It's not my favourite cut on the (highly enjoyable) album though.

digested some titles from the Southern Library lately. one highly recommended and overlooked album is the Jazz Beat Bossa Nova album. really good listen and solid from start to finish. all composed by the famous John Scott. two of the tunes made it on the recent Southern Library Records comp Tom Furse Digs which is a very good selection in my opinion...

super happy that i found the last number of the Wildlife series on the great Sonoton label in the wild. since this is the Wildlife series, there is no other suitable way to hunt them down anyway...haha!

to celebrate my hunting trophy (or whatever i should call it?) i have played three of them last night. really like the ones with compositions from Sam Sklair and Gerhard Narholz (under his pseudonyms Mac Prindy and Otto Sieben) in particular. some mindblowing compositions can be found on them. these are nice and cheap, too…

just realized the Ritmo Dell'Industria N.2 gets a reissue. but where in the hell is N.1??? N.1 needs a little love, too! a part of these tunes made it to the classic Kaleidoscopica comp on Plastic from 2000 and there's a reason for that...

these two records could have made the coolest 2LP library reissue ever. Alessandroni milking seems to be more important though. great mourning from my side...

played this fun release by Mladen Franko. not groundbreaking but has some really good tunes on it. some remind of Boneschi in my opinion. this is actually the very first Sonoton from 1980 but they must have dropped a big load at once. according to discogs they have released 49 releases in 1980 which is crazy. again somebody has uploaded the whole album on youtube...

Didn't know.vol 2 was getting reissued. Definitely need to pick one up as I've never been able to get my hands on an original.



@million is this one on your "longest library tracks" list? Side B is all one track, clocking in at a very lengthy 24'20". This is # 04 in the SMAG series on Magma, Gianni Mazza. This one has some synthy flavors and is a nice listen all around.
