@dollarhyde - What a coincidence. Was / Am listening to Boneschi when I logged on to read the new posts. The one I am listening to is CmL 042: A New Sensation in Sound (Themes, Rhythmic and Abstractionisms [sic!]):

It sounds very cold, quite clinical, spacey and dark (as to the Caretaker comparison, I think the mood is similar but the Caretaker is more organic and intimate whereas the Boneschi tracks I know are making a point of being machine music).
I'd love to hear more Boneschi or to read about his releases, some of which even have identical titles, making his oeuvre quite hard to explore. It doesn't help that clips are quite rare, at least on discogs.
There's one more Boneschi that I own, it has the same title as the one you write about (!) but it's CmL044 and subtitled "Fantastic, futuristic music)". It is a great record, particularly "Saturn's Ambush", but the album is a great listen throughout:

Any other Boneschis you (or other people) would recommend? Both that I know are totally unhinged, I'd love to know more.
Here's the Ambush. So fresh!
