Digital rip in the headphones (Thank you, @Dollar) and now feeling the burning yearning. Yokoyama-san has such a classical touch on the keys and strings on this one. On a blind listen, I could almost envision this as some incredible Fidenco/Nicolai collaboration from the late 70's. Also, I love that he also uses wordless female vocals similar to Edda Dell'Orso... I'm over the moon on this one, and will be chasing it like a vampire hunter after the sunset.

The track escapes me at the moment but it's from when Nicholas rea and company kidnap Louis and Claudia and whatserface...anyway there's this SUDDEN really intense horn line that comes out of nowhere and I always forgot about it, which almost universally resulted in me jumping out of my skin in the middle of the night when writing. This and his score to "in dreams" are personal favorites for sure.

another of Mr. Goldenthal's that needs a vinyl release.

I heard it before I saw the film and liked it, but after seeing the film, they lifted each other up to a different level.
