@ScoJo @static :-)

That Big Trouble is hands down the flimsiest bit of vinyl I own, but it plays just fine. I prefer the shorter cut than the expanded version released on 2cd. Confession time (again) - I've only seen Big Trouble once, about 10 or so years ago, and didn't really 'get' it. Recent bluray purchase, so going to give it another shot.

A fine album, Static. I listened to Garland's All Kinds of Weather earlier on this very afternoon. But now, inspired by Dollarhyde (and because it's sunny out and my tape player is portable)...

Oh, the House movies. I have a soft spot for these scores. And films. In fact, I have a relative who was intimately involved in the making of one of the lesser House sequels.

love the first two for vastly different reasons. I've actually never seen house 3/Horror show/same movie as shocker, and i don't even know how to go about watching the 4th one.

I was disappointed that the arrow set we got in the US only had the first 2, especially as the book it came with detailed the other two as well. I know 3 was pout out by Shout years back though, the rights issues on those catalogue titles are always interesting.

The first and second House movies are a lot of fun. I haven't seen the others. Wait that's not true, I have seen Horror Show. Never realised that was "House 3" was that it's title overseas?

Great run! Thanks for reminding me that I need House BAD ways, love those films and scores and never have managed to add the Varese press to my collection. Did I imagine it, or was a reissue once teased by someone (WW??)

Now schpinnin':

Oh yeah.
Thanks to a local record fair at the weekend I finally filled this hole in my Scott Engel collection. Great stuff, not quite as out there as the albums which followed it, but still unique.
Featuring Mark Isham, Brian Gascoigne, Evan Parker and Mark Knopfler amongst others!

I know we've discussed Scot Walker in here before and that I've pledged my allegiance to him aforehand as well, but I must say that this could be my favorite Walker LP. It is so damn good it hurts.
