@Dollar! nice to see all those japaneese anime scores. i took a bunch of these home from my last trip to hong kong. still did not listen to them though. it's crazy how many anime series japan had in the 80s already...

it was about time to listen to some cheesy stuff. mature cheddar. almost ripend to perfection. this one is big. almost unreal cocktail lounge and hotel bar space age private press from the late 60s. the prefect record if you need to vibe out after a hard day of work. cover art is priceless, too. i was really surprised to find this listed in the discogs database. read about it many years ago and managed to get a copy one day. i think this would make the prefect reissue. Trunk records, maybe??

another cheesy spin for me. Umiliani never fails. this one is actually very nice and i regret to have written a almost negative feedback on discogs about one year ago. stupid dealers annoyed me by calling it a funky bossa holygrail or something like that. may them burn in hell....

anyway, this is a great record for your next cocktail party.

it is rare and i believe this and the 2LP jazz record is the only one from the Omicron catalogue, that was sold to the public officially. even if the pressing quantities must have been very small.

i have two copies and the second one is without the cover and the record has a little damage which does not allow to play the first few seconds on the first track on each side. if anyone is interested i would be happy to give it away for free to the first one who hits my pm box. just would like to have shipping costs being paid.

Haha that willy wall trio is some classy stuff. I always love finding obscurities like that, on some private press label and the LP is signed by the whole band :D
I have a few bits like that but maybe not as classy as those guys.

Curious to see what anime related stuff you picked up. There seems to be a lot of it out there, however the really early stuff (60's early 70's) is not so easy to find.
Once you get down to the 45s and flexis it's a very deep hole to fall into. All the artwork posters and inserts really make them great records though, and the music too of course.

Listening to Scuba Death's "The Worm at the Core" LP, which just came out on Further Records. Scuba Death is Ricardo Donoso, who has a bunch of releases on Denovali. His stuff on Denovali is brooding, cinematic instrumental with a percussive bent. This "Worm" LP is more pulsing and low-key, more sinister. Electronics with manipulated cello. You can hear samples at Further's site here. I got the blue vinyl. There's a little static toward the inside of each side. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it were intentional. Still need to listen to the mp3s to compare.

Just landed! Finally scored a NM OG of the original press with that incredible artwork....

Anyone else a big fan of this John Russo movie and score? I really like the film, very fond memories of discovering it as a youth from the NOTLD/Russo connection - it's kindof a brutal slice of folk-americana-horror, featuring John Amplas and Lawrence Tierney! And this soundtrack is one of my all time favourite horror scores, only had the (very cool) Motionsound re-issue until now, which added extra synths and atmos from Paul McCollogh (the film's cinematographer...)

love this one. cover art is so good...

in 2014 i purchased all of the remaining stock of the original midnight theme 7"s from john russo, they were all signed. I think i sold them all on here for $20 a pop.

being a pittsburgher, suprisingly i have never seen this record in any shops in the last 10 years.

though i picked up the first edition of the novelization not too long ago.
i also a vhs signed by John Amplas
