^ i remember buying that Octagon album in the week of release when i was a little kid/teenager in the mid 90s. still got my original copy and i can't believe it's over 20 years from now. this album means a lot to me as it has changed my whole ideology...

Dollarhyde wrote:Also I see space cobra on kentaro's discogs credits. Which make sense in that that article states a track from kindaichi got used for space cobra. Need to find out which one now.

I have a a few of kentaro haneda's anime involved lp's but not any space cobra, yet.
Good stuff but not on the same tip as mystery Kindaichi.
Now with Space Cobra, we are back to Yuji Ohno-san being involved again... ;)

Here is another Seiji Yokoyama OST I picked up recently, Symphonic Suite Space Pirate Captain Harlock:

This one is much more space opera than space disco.

LITA sure can pick 'em, huh? The Lewis story is pretty fascinating as well and while it didn't play out in front of the cameras (quite the opposite, actually) there are a few forum threads scattered around the World Wide Web that should similarly be required reading.

@mateo -

Ahhhh....

Lewis. Lewis.

Lewis.

That's a special thing indeed you're invoking there, my friend. I may feel compelled to pull those from the shelf now.

It's like a samurai sword that needs to draw blood before being re-sheathed. Or something.

I really like what LaLaLand did with that Star Trek release. Don't know about yours but my vinyl was pretty quite. Side C had the most noise so may give it another ride on the RCM. Otherwise, really nice.

What a wonderful release. My camera is playing up so just imagine this playing with shedloads of wine.

I took this picture when the LP was still sealed, but I can assure you it is open now and sounding massive. STBC: I BLAME YOU.
