Guys

Not sure why Jim posted the link that is only available to RSD retailers.

Regardless, any orders placed for these or any other RSD titles will be cancelled and refunded.

No reason to mess around.

Hopefully y'all can snag these up on RSD

2xLP coming from La La Land on 3/14. No tracklisting yet.

@Mateo - That looks interesting, and I would assume it's culled from La La Land's 3CD archive release. Although I would have preferred a shelf match for my Wrath of Khan 2LP from Mondo, this will hopefully be a quality release. The cover art reminds me of a rave flier though.

Yeah, the cover art is an interesting choice, but to each their own. I agree on the source material and presume they'll try to get as much of the complete score on there as possible and leave off all of the other bonus material.

It didn't even occur to me that it was odd these were available on there until you posted this, whoops. Oh well haha

Guys - I apologize for any confusion from my screw up - I thought they were public links. I didn't think to ask and messed up. I truly am sorry for the mix up on my part.

@Voodoo Jim, do NOT feel guilty about posting those links. I saw all those you posted via various other online retailers earlier this week as well, and I still see links posted to all these RSD releases online via sites other than LITA. To avoid causing any more drama over this, I will save posting in them here, though.

This happens every year with RSD, where they try to hold back announcing the titles even though they are relatively easy to find if you know where to look. And honestly, so what if people know about what's coming out a few weeks before RSD "officially" announces them?

It's stuff like this that make me dread RSD more and more each year. Honestly at this point I cross my fingers and hope that there aren't any RSD "exclusives" coming out that I actually want to own.

The RSD song-and-dance has become way old at this point, and it's not necessary.

Yep, it was an accident. No big deal. Josh is a good dude and came in to let folks know that LITA couldn't take orders through those links. Sorted.

@Goodnight - So much good stuff coming out right now. I have to find some time so I may sample these wares.

@DigitalHiss - I grabbed all three of these today. Whew! Bonus track aside, I wonder what the differences are between the cassette and LP versions of The Satanic Path. I am also curious to see if these are self-released like his first two or if it's a DWRC cassette.

@Vape - I want it, but I'm gunshy of the shipping costs. Holding out hope this turns up Stateside. These releases are legion right now.

Only got the Satanic Path tape through bandcamp. Too late for the rest...

And Dagored keeps spitting out great and affordable (at least if you live in the EU) wax. Great label!

@Vapormeyer - Yeah, I'll definitely be picking up the Alessandroni. Will have to pass on the 7-inches though. They just don't agree with my listening habits anymore these days.

@Mateo - Sadly (or maybe happily) I now wait for my go-to places in the UK or Euro to get these in. Shipping from the US to Canada is just stupid now, and it's affected where I shop pretty drastically. A package from the UK gets here in a week and costs half of what it does to ship something from the much geographically-closer US. Add in a horrible US/CDN exchange rate, and all said and done, it's typically $15 to $20 cheaper a record if I buy them overseas.

The world is a very strange place sometimes.

Yea, I'm curious about the difference as well. I noticed no bonus track on the DL for the Satanic Path cass, so I'm assuming those digital files were the same I got with the LP. We can only know what the cassette holds by spinning its cogs...

And if the cassettes were affiliated in any way with DW I think it would have been made clear in the descriptions since DW is such a big name. I think they are coming from PHV himself..

My Chi Sei? showed up damaged at the pressing plant. The label machine ate up the b side. Light in the attic was super great and helpful about getting me a replacement and I mentioned the Alessandro Alessandroni release to them since its on the same label and they let me know that it went live for preorder in the states last night:

Sonor has announced its RSD releases, and these are them:

https://sonormusiceditions.bandcamp.com ... io-roelens

https://sonormusiceditions.bandcamp.com ... g-l-p-1001

https://sonormusiceditions.bandcamp.com ... g-l-p-1002

https://sonormusiceditions.bandcamp.com ... -seduzione

Personally been a hot and cold on the Sonor stuff, but the I Marc 4 records are a must for me. I'll probably go for the Luis Bacalov as well.

From the last batch of normal Sonor stuff, I HIGHLY recommend Amedeo Tommasi's Thomas. Killer. All killer.
