Mucho $$$ :)
I have seen copies without an obi go for $20. Patience can be rewarding. ;)

@texas - That Sexy Dracula 45 looks ridiculous/awesome.

@tim - Great stuff. I also love that Vampire Hunter D album. The sleeve art is by Yoshitaka Amano, a prolific and incredibly talented artist/illustrator, who was also the original artist for VHD. If you ever come across his art books, I highly recommend them.

EvanCampbell wrote:Tim how is the sound quality on Basket Case 2 and Frankenhooker?
Mines fine. I haven't cleaned it yet so what little noise there was may clean up once I put it on the RCM. I'm happy with the purchase.

@Tim Thanks...kind of on the fence about grabbing it being that both of those soundtracks did not stand out to me at the time I saw the films....been awhile since I watched either. I can see this disappearing and not be released again.

Evan that Denon plinth looks awesome, is it custom?

Haven't spun this one in a few years. Dave Sitek's remixes are great. Might have to pull out the AP pressing of the album next, I love the danger mouse + Norah Jones sound.

Lovely bit of bouncy Cinecitta Spy-Fi nonsense (aka Mission Stardust) from '67 by Marcello Giombini.

If you've ever seen Roman Coppola's highly underrated 'CQ'.......

Finally get my hands on this utter beauty - the score is just superb, 2xlps worth of music at 45rpm and a full gatefold package of eye candy via Goulish Gary Pullin!

I must admit, MS was one of those titles where initially I wasn't completely sold on the LP design, since I'm such a nut for the movie that I really missed seeing the The Squad featured in the art. I would definitely have loved an alternate release with OG poster art for this one. HOWEVER, seeing what GG delivered in the flesh, it's bloody killer and can be pored over for ages drinking in all the details of his faux horror-mag ads and nods to the flick (Dekker model cement is my favourite!) There is clearly much love here by the artist for the source.

Oh, and the "amulet" vinyl colour is pretty damn cool too. All in all, they staked this one right through the heart.
