@texas - You're on fire, homey.

I just pulled trigger on Sortilegio, Luciani's Free Jazz and Musica per commenti sonori. Pulled from your best of '16 post. Gracie!

I kind of hate the cover, but the Bass Modulations reissue sounds good. Just did an A/B test with an original pressing, and it's pretty solid. Maybe a bit of compression. The original has a little mellower sound whereas everything is a bit more "up front" in the mix in the reissue.

There's a fair amount of string cheese on this Paolo Ferrara Canopo library, but there are also a couple of good breaks and one great cop-funk track "penniless"

Fallabrino - Progetto Europa library, 1980. Couple of funky breaks on this one, and the cover is great

Million you forgot to include Cosmo Graffiti and Gravita Zero, both on RCA SP series.

As a penalty you have to mail me a copy of the Gianni Safred record .....

I was actually going to mention those two, but since both are technically soundtracks and not library I didn't know if they were "million dollar list-worthy" !

Texas, was it you who beat me to the Flower/Usignolo package on Instagram? Thought you wanted to cut back a little? ;)

Yeah, I might end up ripping & selling those two, we'll see. Haven't bought much lately and still need to downsize by about 1000 LPs!

Apparently an OG copy of this turned up at a Rappcats sidewalk sale and J Rocc snapped it up! Would love to get my mitts on an original some day.

Later sound on this one, probably early 80s? I like two tracks with Teimar aka Ivana Mattei! Affanno Junior & Serpentina Junior

That Arawak LP is excellent. I believe that was the first library reissue I ever bought.

@texas - How is that Golden Pavilion reissue? I know where you can put up an offer on an OG...

I really like Akriliko. Good mix of sounds on that album.

The reissue is okay, not terrible but I suspect could be a little better also. I'd have to hear an original to compare. You never know, some of the originals sound amazing and some not so good.

Who's holding weight with an OG to sell? Haha

I think the golden pavilion is pretty good. Hard cover and good vinyl with good sound quality. (I was attempting to post that on vinyl playing list but then I noticed I don't know how to do it)

There's coming a 2017 reissue of it by the same label so I warmly recommend it, I'm a big fan of Luciano after I bought the reissue a way back.

one more gem from the infamous Grifo label. i was actually about to sell this after the first spin. it sounded too weird to me. after listening to it again i became kind of obsessed with it. i play it very often now. especially the Potenza cues on A side and Sogrini on B side are amazing. haunting, enchanted, dark magic. beautifuly simple cover art, too. as raw as it gets...
