I picked up the CD release of this a few years ago, and it's great and atmospheric. Fans of Golczewski's scores should pick this up without hesitation.

The Wicked Die Young is a companion album curated by director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon). The fourteen tracks represent the various ideas he had while working on the film The Neon Demon. Selections include tracks from Giorgio Moroder, Pino Donaggio and Amanda Lear as well as new music from Electric Youth, Julian Winding and The Neon Demon’s composer Cliff Martinez.
Looks interesting and I'm always excited to see directors who are passionate about music, in film or otherwise, (like NWR) involved in projects like this.

On topic, I finally caught My Life Directed by NWR via Amazon Video, and it was superb. Fascinating insights, and great BTS material from making of Only God Forgives. Loved it.

The score by Martinez is of course superb, adds another layer of contemplation/emotional depth to the doc. If anyone hasn't yet grabbed that one, can't rec'd highly enough.\

I'll definitely be signed up for the above release!

@Spun - That is exactly how I took it as well. And, yes it's on MIlan.

@ScoJo - My Life... is a fine documentary and the score is, well, fantastic. I have streamed it dozens of times. I know it never got a vinyl release, but I'm not sure it even got a CD.

Wonder if we'll get a NWR approved Julian Winding album at some point... his track on the Neon Demon was, dare I say it, the standout on there and his appearance on the My Life With... soundtrack was also very strong

Also, I wonder whether there will be another fancy pants Gaumont release of this one (?)

I do not recognize the existence of these physical products because my vinyl (if it were to exist) has a slight warp to it. So there -- they don't exist. You were right all along, and I was wrong and drunk. Again.

There's a reissue of Howard Shore's The Fly coming later this month on Varese Sarabande. There's an exclusive variant available only at ccvinyl.com here: http://www.ccvinyl.com/the-fly-soundtra ... 0206668872 I hesitated sharing, because I know there are good copies available for the same or cheaper, but I though maybe some of the VS collectors/completionists here at STBC might be interested.

What?! It's mastered from your copy?! Yeah, I'd guess you are indirectly responsible as well. Holy smokes. Friggin' $1,000,000. You're unbelievable, man. Thanks for always sharing. Even -nay- especially with the labels!
