Nor I. There are a few reissues, both official and -ahem- otherwise, out there, but I've not scooped one up yet.

Nice OG texas!!

Are you able to make a comparison between this and the superior viaduct reissue? If you have/had it.

Anyone else pick up this beautiful Dagored pressing of Nella Stretta Morsa Del Ragno by Riz Ortolani?

Interesting red vinyl treatment with darker hued edges - score sounds like the best bits of Morricone and Nicolai, so therefore right up my proverbial street.

500 copies.

Moving on to a first play of the score to probably the most bonkers giallo movie I've seen (though Top Sensation comes close) - that of Interrabang by Berto Pisano, again from Dagored.

I'd suggest the score is better than the film.
The vinyl is actually a deep green, though my camera has made it look more turquoise here. 500 copies again.

Plays a bit 'skippy' to start with, hopefully it just needs a clean.

Extraordinary music (and every bit as perfect a vinyl release as you'd expect from Deutsche Grammophon) from this best-of-year film. What a way to trailer your next high-profile science fiction movie, Denis!!

Seriously guys - if you're in any way debating/hesitating, jump the fuck on this. It would have easily made my DFC top 10 new osts on vinyl if it had arrived (ha!) a wee bit sooner.

So lush, creepy, and weirdly funky. A psychedelic and kaleidoscopic gem in the Death Waltz catalog. This also snuck in during the brief run of large textured album sleeves, and it's a pleasure to hold and read. Almost feels like lizard skin...

You're on a tear, kid! I'm looking forward to getting home tonight and spinning some. And tomorrow as well. My to-listen pile is frightfully high at the moment.

Revisiting this one, a record that I think still languishes in obscurity. It's got an early 80s late disco funk sound but with a touch of sophistication and tight musicianship. I had forgotten all about it but recently saw it listed for pre-order as a reissue. I swear it's like these guys are all racing one another to reissue this stuff, the release schedules have all seemingly been accelerating even as new labels enter the fray.

Anyway, this is worth checking out, I bet you can still find an original super cheap but who knows.

La Bellissima Estate, music by Alberto Pomeranz, Luciano Michelini and Renato Serio. Features the theme from Curb Your Enthusiasm Il Barone Rosso better known as "Frolic". Great score all around, mix of classical, lounge and easy listening, some tracks with vocal accents that must be Edda Dell'Orso (I wonder how many hundreds of records she sang on?!). On the RCA SP Original Cast Series.
