Hope some of y'all were able to score a test pressing! I was able to get checked out before they sold out. Gremlins didn't pop up right away, so I bought the test pressing and then placed a second order once Gremlins appeared. Also had to snag the 10 Cloverfield from "The Bunker" (how did you even find that one, Cult?)

Test presses sold out in a minute or two. Hope some STBC types got 'em rather than the dolphins. Not much for me here in this drop, but in the heat of the moment, I was tempted.

PS - Mondo said there were 100 TPs for sale. Were they limited to one per customer or could folks order multiples?

I put up Gravity and Looper test presses for sale on Discogs for way less than the $100 ea they charged at Mondo Con I.

The funny thing about last time, people sold them on ebay as mystery or unknown test presses but you know they looked at the Matrix numbers and determined whether to keep or sell them for more.

Still in the top handful of releases ever by Mondo. Great, great record.

Dunno how many MondoCon versions of Le Matos' Join Us were available but I grabbed one and a few minutes later they were gone. Also got Gremlins and The Guest. Had to take advantage of the flat $10 international shipping.

I remember somebody on this board had a test pressing of The Visitor from the first MondoCon. We actually helped them identify it from their description of the tunes.

If anybody turns up a test pressing of Frizzi's Contraband or The Scorpion with Two Tails OST's, I would be interested in either one and willing to buy/trade.

Well, there's no way whoever listed Visitor got it from the $25 sale today. I forget what Mondo charged previously for these, but wasn't it $100?

If you don't have this soundtrack there are a couple listed on Discogs for good prices- one is $17.99.

I missed an original copy of Stridulum that popped up for sale at a record shop here in the states and am still salty about it!! I hope someone here grabbed it.

@texas: Wow, didn't know Mondo charged so much in the past for a test pressing.

Well I guess whoever really wants this will of course come up with the money for it.

I actually do have an original Stridulum which I bough a couple of years ago. This absolutely is a (if not THE) holy grail of my collection. I love this score and the OG artwork to me just encompasses everything that is great about Italian scores from the late 70ties/early 80ties.
