I couldn't resist and ordered a copy of Fight Club. I look forward to the upcoming OCD exercise in getting it open in just the right way... I'm kind of tempted to just rip it open.

Yes I caved and boughtapproximately one copy of Fight Club.

That Gremlins stuff does look great.
And also bought only one copy of Fight Club :-)
Too much stuff coming out... and I am finding too much old stuff on the internet I really want... I need to stop searching for stuff on discogs and auction sites.

Well done monster! I scored....zip. I went on more for curiosity than anything else.

They put up a few good ones... Did they let people access the pages before the sale went live? That would seem like a recipe for disaster by giving people a chance to set up shop bots.

I forgot they were having it. Looks like they sold out 12 pages of prints in seconds. I do wonder who buys all this stuff. How many 24x36 prints can one frame and hang? I've got eight on the wall, and that's already kind of gratuitous.

If I could pick one from the flat file it would have been the Durieux Birds print with the dock.

Most expensive print i ever bought and now i'm gonna have to spend some $ to get it framed proper.
I only have 2 framed prints and about 10 more total sitting in a flat file box under my bed.

I got the sold out message at first but i kept trying to checkout for about 10 minutes and then it finally went through.

Treat yo self.

Madness!! Upset of the year right there. Good on you, MW. It's beautiful; worth every damn penny.

On a side note, it's nice to see that a lot of the older Jay Shaw prints (Blue Sunshine, Cold In July, et al.) that lingered when they were initially released, sold out instantly this time. I think it took a minute for a lot of the Mondo heads to come around to his style of art and appreciate the historic context from where he draws some of his inspiration, but it seems like that has really started to change in the last year or two. His poster for Rocky III is still the best thing Mondo have ever released. It's truly brilliant.

I've always loved that rocky 3 print, such an out of the box design

Nicely done, @monsterworship! Congrats on hacking Mondo's Gibson. Trust you will be enjoying that print all framed up on your wall.

Tried to get a Jock Cannibal Holocaust Print for $55 and it sold out while in my cart. Checked ebay afterwards just to see and wound up winning the same one in an auction for $27 a few hours later! It was insane how fast stuff went. There was no way you could browse 12 pages of prints and then decide what you wanted.

All on Wednesday: $25 random test pressings of Mondo and DWRC catalogs, the Gremlins drop, and The Guest and Le Matos represses. As well as free domestic and $10 international shipping from Mondo "all week." Never been a TP guy, but I know a lot of folks are. I wonder if there will be some future releases hidden in the stash?

Ok now that's funny!!

Anyone able to find the Pixies track? Haven't been able to find a double cut on any of the tracks. Maybe it's not on there.

I believe it's just a clever name for the secret page. The one for the Blair Witch/Evil Dead drop was "The Forest".

Looking forward to checking out Fight Club. Nice hidden message you have already found. :) I was not expecting the Pixies track to be on there though.

Re: Test Pressings - when you think back on the entire five-year run of both Mondo/DW, there are quite a few titles I would love to pick up, but not sure I would gamble on a random purchase. One good thing about the last two MondoCon events was that you could look at the test pressing title on the back of the sleeve, but they certainly had a limited selection and not the entire catalog.

I'm with Deaf on this one, Tex; I think it's a reference to the bunker from the film. Also, I am surprised that The Pixies cut hasn't been found/isn't on there. I wouldn't've thought they were asking for loads for such a small run plus the hidden 'where is my mind' message. Oh, well. Still a great bit of design. I have to hand it to them there.

Actually, scratch that. I know squat about how much licensing would be for that song/band, but I still hope someone finds it hidden somewhere. Maybe its underneath the labels like that Jack White LP.

It wasn't on the original album so I wouldn't expect to see it here. Like said previously, I imagine the licencing is probably a fair bit.
