Wishful thinking on my part perhaps... sure a re-issue of the Jay Chattaway Maniac would be a strong seller as the OG goes for top dollar (beyond my budget!) :)

It was Mondo's first release I believe? And yeah, both DW and Mondo subsequently released their own versions of the re-make on vinyl, so a tenuous connection is there.

I may just have Jay Chattaway on the brain as I'm currently reading the 'Scored to death' book in which he's interviewed about said score.

I think Il Maestro confirmed in his recent Twitter chat that this *was* going to get a release... but there was a period in the studio mapped out after his current live tour.... so maybe a release for MondoCon may be a bit too early?

I am certainly very interested to hear what's new and hoping for some reveals when he plays London a day or so before Carpenter.

Just been pinged again for by HRMC

Went through a massive phase of $15 being put on absolutely everything (even that Batman box set)

But two of the last three things ordered from them has been labelled up with the actual sale price

Not having a dig as obviously got away with ALOT but has something changed over there meaning it has been declared accurately??

Yet again, DHL "Customs Charge", now over £15 to get a delivery. These charges come 100% now with every DHL delivery and no other company I deal/have dealt with. I now go with the more "expensive" option on checkout which works out cheaper as mysteriously it has never incurred a customs charge. Avoid the DHL option. Please note, this is by no means a criticism of Mondo, it is my annoyance at DHL.

In addition to those test pressings, I also see Clint Mansell's Noah on the back of the obi strip for The Fountain. I enjoyed the Noah suite from his live show. I haven't seen the film yet though.

I was also searching the Mondo/DW booth for test pressings of Contraband or The Scorpion With Two Tails, but no luck! ;)

There's someone on the Death Waltz fb page not very happy with the artwork. I personally quite like it but as I have their first pressing from 2011 I won't be needing that one.

I like the artwork better than the original Mondo version. I hope there's a retail version, I don't want to deal with international shipping rates.
