Electronic Music Vol. IV on Turnabout
"The selections are works by the winners of the First International Electronic Music Competition - Dartmouth College, 1968."

some of which are a bit madcap:

Haven't listened to them yet. I'm almost done listening to a podcast and then I'll be streaming Cybernetica. I'm looking forward to their release from the fish/sea library records serie that started with Ittiologia and biologia marina, and in the meantime it's difficult to not let my completist ocd kick in.

Just landed from 2HD. Sorry for bad pic, glossy finish wins over my bad photography skills. Can't wait to listen. Major Key!

DRUMSANITY,..,ahhh yeah

Niagara is just filthy, dirty monster drums, wow.

@million I need that Volume 2! But not for the Discogs prices!! I think I am taking a break from buying any more OG library stuff until I sell all these record show leftovers.

@Texaswax: yes, crazy prices going on. it's like you can see raise prices for library records daily. it is really not the best time to look for sought after originals unless you have some heavy guns to trade with.

nice to see Percussioni reissued finally. i was looking for that one for a while since i was only able to get the St Germain Des Pres versions. does the reissue have the nice gatefold cover like the other Liuto double LP albums?

(surely the list is not complete)
The list is far from useless. In fact, I for one appreciate lists like this or any list on records since I'm like everyone else on here....an obsessive record junkie! I love learning about new wax and appreciate the list and the board here.

Just received my copy of Zoo Folle and am impressed.
I agree with Texas that Niagara is killer and the fact that OG library copies are getting out of hand.

Yes it is a gatefold! And it comes with a CD

another personal nugget for me. this De Wolfe 10" is special for two reasons. first because it has the killer Basil Kirchin tune Theme For A Journey on it which makes this record worth owning alone. second is because the rest of the cues are from the famous Dawn Of The Dead movie. jump on it if you see a reasonable priced copy...

there is a guy who made a useful one in contrast to my lists. it lists most of the DOTD cues. the list is not complete though. if you need to know the remaining ones you can drop me a line. one day i was thinking of getting all of these libraries but i stopped after 3 or so :)

just discovered what pieces of art these early Umiliani records are when laying next to each other. i felt like this needs to be seen by all you library aficionados.

just imagine Efetti Musicali had a different title also starting with a "P". P like Piero, like Pioneer or Pimp of the italian composers, haha!

Oh yes, you are right. Just seen that. I have added the record to the discogs database less than two months ago and never figured this has been offered for sale since then.
