Both you and @monsterworship tipped me off to that pressing, and it was fun to help return the favor. It would be interesting to learn more about who was responsible for the production mix. Similar to the Halloween OST LP in '79, I am curious about what exactly was going on in Japan to create these interesting versions of the soundtrack LP. Anybody know of other horror soundtracks that received similar treatment in Japan in the 70's/80's?

Yeah it sold out of discogs really fast and now the price is way too high, but I don't think it sold at that price. It's just one guy who thinks it will sell at the exuberant price. The median sale price is still around 30$ I think. I wouldnt be surprised if theres a repress coming up anyway.

It was sub-$20 before Stranger Things. Heck, my Austin buddy said there were copies sitting on the shelf at End of an Ear until a couple of weeks ago. Also, it definitely is a repress coming. The label announced that. Can't remember off the top, but I believe they are repressing an EP as well.

I got lucky and found it on discogs, sold by user onewaystatic, (yes our own friendly neighborhood vinyl pusher) for 40Euros. There's only ever been one pressing, according to discogs, it doesn't come by often. but you got Inseminoid, yeah ? saw it on ebay at 50$, 2-3 years ago, and I let it go and I kind of regret now.

I haven't picked up the Season 3 volumes yet, but I will. I love the score to that show, and I loved the show. The best musical moment, for me, from the show is probably the season 2 finale with the Bloodfest track.

@nathan I do not have Inseminoid either. That's also been on my want list for a long time too.

But in all honesty I wouldn't spend $50 on it either. As much as I enjoy the score I have (what some folks here) would probably consider a pretty harsh self imposed price limit for a single album. $60, and the only time I've ever spent that much was on here actually, on a copy of Phantasm a few years back.
