@tim it really does sound stellar. This was the only hole in my Peter Gabriel collection and I'm really happy to have filled it. :)

When the album came out in 2002 I grabbed the sacd and I've regretted not grabbing the vinyl for years.

I believe ScoJo mentioned Seconds on one of the early DFC podcasts.

@Tim

A fantastic (and fantastically weird) Goldsmith score. And needless to add....what a movie!

Thanks for mentioning the anniversary Tim, definitely needs to be honoured with my spins this evening :(

Deep from the vault, and has been in my collection for decades:

A joy to honor Jerry Goldsmith. It should be a holiday going forward where we all get the day off work to spin his music.

I'm in for a Goldsmith spin or two.

@Tim-love that trailer from the film Magic. That film scared the hell out of me when I was growing up. It's still such a creepy movie.

@bpwlogan - Interesting Goldsmith scores. I have not seen or heard either one.

I have been wanting to get in another listen of this expanded score:

One of my favorites, and although I miss the industrial/rock tracks from the OST, I could listen to Boswell's gloomy synths and twangy doom guitar for hours. Killer gatefold artwork on this LP as well:

@deaf

He resembles a young Andrew or Julian Lloyd Webber in that shot!

I guess fans of that score will have already picked up the most recent Black Mountain LP on which he plays keys (?)

Can't claim to be the hip one here, I have the album on an earlier recommendation from Spencer. Rough Trade were doing a limited colour version that also came with a separate CD of demo's.

Yeah, that new Black Mountain smolders. I just saw them in June for the first time in over a decade. It was a really good show. I'd also love another Sinoia Caves album or even an vinyl release of their only LP.

@deaf-Yeah there both pretty good. I guess the film Inchon has never had a DVD or even a VHS release. It's considered one of the worst movies ever made. I think there's a VHS bootlegs available of the TV version floating around. I found that interesting.

Intrada really should release their expanded edition of this on vinyl.
