Listening to Baskin for the first time. An enjoyable yet slow start, then it goes a bit Bollywood on side B, then ambient electronic and finally it really starts pulsing with satisfyingly heavy intense menace. A mixed bag with plenty of variation - it keeps you interested. I'll definitely listen to this again.

@frozen it's a 7.5ips recording so basically the same as the vinyl. :) Maybe a tad more extension on the tape.

I know that CD does not equal Vinyl in this thread, but I am not making a new thread for some shiny discs anyone hardly uses anymore :-)

Mid 90's this was the stuff I bought. No scores, but soundtracks because of the great metal/rock compilations. I do have The Crow and Natural Born killers somewhere. And of course some Tarantino stuff.

Now playing Demon Knight.

I have that Demon Knight CD somewhere, Bez. Don't think I had Strangeland, but looking at that lineup, I'm not sure why. I didn't think much of the movie so perhaps that dissuaded me. Still, Anthrax? Megadeth? Pantera? Those bands were in my wheelhouse then. Loads of soundtracks on CD from back in the day.

of all 3 releases this was the best sounding on my system but I like the music on US slightly better
