@Scojo,

Very pleased to take it off your hands. I'm surprised NOES has not been reissued. One of the most iconic and best electronic horror scores of the 80's imo. I think it's the obvious dreamlike qualities of the score that give it it's edge.

Bloodsport is great fun nothing really fancy musically speaking, it's a very simple score compared to others but it does the job that is asked of it very well, the whole lp really captures the film, if you watch the film with your ears open the score really plays a very big part in the film, mainly due to the huge amount of montage scenes ;)

I hope it gets reissued. I don't have any of those scores, never seen one in the wild.

This Is Osanna LP is pretty good. Italian prog stuff, some tracks written and all arranged & directed by Luis Bacalov.

Like a crazed incarnation of Howlin' Wolf never to be duplicated...the one and only Captain Beefheart.

A great early piece of work by Martinez. I think you can still pick this up at a reasonable price.

@texas, I keep on seeing good things said about that Osanna lp, may have to grab it at some point, bit weary of stepping foot into the world of rare Italian prog though. ;)

Love seeing all the Martinez, BPW. And, Dollarhyde, Supersempfft is legit! I have never heard of this before.

@Mateo, it's a crazy electronic kind of pop rock concept lp. There are a couple of great tunes on it like the one above. Some great artwork on the gatefold and inner sleeve also.

Next up, a true dollar bin record but a damn good one!

@Mateo-I guess Martinez is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the RHCP. I never knew this until I started reading about his music career the other day. I thought that was interesting.

@Dollarhyde-That Saturday Night Fever soundtrack might be the greatest dollar bin record of all time. A true classic!

I got the two dead stock copies of Supersempfft from Jay at Private Records. Really good stuff, both have spent quite a bit of time on the deck.

All true. C-Mart is an interesting dude.

I've picked up a couple things from this small UK label Drone Rock Records. Just got their newest release which is a debut of a Cambridge group called "Psychic Lemon" -- pretty good stuff. The pressing runs are small; this I think was a run of 100 copies. The label calls it "psych/funk/kraut" which is maybe not the best descriptor

Trying out a replacement copy of this pressing:

Sounding very clean on the entire first disc. A truly experimental and inspiring score.

*edit: some slight surface noise on second disc, especially side D, but much better than my first copy. Going to keep this one. It looks like Milan is repressing this album in the near future. Anybody know if it will be on the same color vinyl?

@Monster-I think Martinez is just on the first two albums.

@deaf-Good news on The Terminator I almost picked that up when I made an online order the other day. I decided to pick up Scream instead. It's not going to be released until September though.

@Dollar - Freaky psych funk. I like that "Super Disco - 45 r.p.m." text on the sleeve, haha.

One of Waxwork's finest moments, imho. I could flip this 2LP endlessly.
