The Criminale compilation series ( I have vol.3 and 4) are less good to me than the Library of Sound Grooves or the Four Flies compilations, but they still have some great tracks, one of them being the Alessandro Alessandroni piece, "North Wind" (click the picture to listen) which is also on the "Panoramic Feelings" release from Dagored. I don't own the Dagored release but now that I've discovered that track I'm very tempted to get it.

SAND CIRCLES - Motor City
Originally released on cassette in 2012, this amazing album has just been pressed to vinyl for the first time and it's a must have release. I have been listening to this album, in late nights, for 2-3 years, it's a classic night music session album. If you like lo-fi bedroom ambient music, sci-fi synthesizers, faux retro-futurist documentaries soundtrack type vibes... then please give this release a try. To me, the best song is "Endless Nights" (click the picture for youtube link)

Just added to my Nile collection, "In Their Darkened Shrines" is considered one if not the best album from the band. Brutal Death Metal with Egyptian themes. click the picture for the moody outro song from the album.

@Nathan - Nice variety of music you are spinning, and thank you for the audio links. I will always be partial to Nile's first album Amongst The Catacombs of Nephren-Ka, primarily because it was the first thing I heard from them, and it absolutely blew me away way back in the late 90's. I have seen them perform at least half a dozen times over the years. The first time I saw them was at a small sold-out show in Minneapolis back in the early 2000's where they were nearly electrocuted by shoddy cabling in a crumbling-apart warehouse loft space. The energy that night was quite... electric.

@Dollarhyde-much love on the Maniac score. I really don't care for 90% of the horror film remakes, but that one was pretty good. The score and film were a perfect match.

@Scojo & Static-MBV, what a great release from WW. The sound quality, cover art, and overall package is just amazing. The cover art alone is just killer.
