Same here, Hatter. Ghost Box is lovely as is Belbury Poly. I'll have to stream this one a few time before I buy it, though. Not for me on first blush, but Lord knows my opinion's changed a time or three.

Sacred Bones has two of the John Carpenter re-recorded themes 12"s up for purchase. You can get a standard, mystery color, or picture disc. If you buy multiple items, you can get a 10% discount on your order.

I'm going back and forth, but I think I'm going to opt out (and then regret it later). I love the themes, but I don't want to spend $20 for just two songs, even if they are re-recorded. More for you guys!

I'm holding off on ordering more from Two Headed Dog until my last order actually ships - I got a shipping notice on April 13 and its never hit USPS for tracking.

Hop I don't miss Manhattan Baby...

Sadly, I'm with Jim on this one. I'm still waiting for a resolution to an order from February all the while they are still holding my money. To be clear, it's only a small amount of money and there was a little communication initially, but now that has dried up and there is the principle to consider. I still want them to succeed since they seem to almost exclusively stock titles I'm interested in, but I can't justify purchasing from them at the moment.

Also, while I'm throwing shade, their new-ish site redesign is a step back from their previous interface. The product pages contain less information and the whole site is harder to navigate, sort, and browse now.

I just received a recent order from 2HD a few days ago. I have not had any problems, and would recommend getting in touch again. That said, Manhattan Baby will also be stocked by Dusty Groove, although they only use a watch list feature and not preorders.

I also had a USPS media mail package from DG take over a month to arrive after they shipped it. :)

What did you get recently from 2HD? I've been waiting a while for "Don't Torture a Duckling" and Alex Barnett's "Chew from the Mind," and both of these look to be readily available from other places in the US.

i received Terminator, You're Next, and The Witch all together. I have received the first 2 and The Witch says it will be released on the 20th.

My first order with 2HD seemed to take a while to ship - Hateful Eight and the Lawrence K. Harvey H.P. Lovecraft thing.

The three I ordered last month are all supposed to me "in stock" items:

ANDREW LILES Wanton Wives, Monstrous Maidens and Wicked Witches
Nostra Signora Delle Tenebre
CHRIS ALEXANDER Music For Murder

I reached out a couple of days ago - with free shipping I give it a month since that is usually media mail. They've responded that they'll look into it. My concern is the tracking number still indicated that USPS had not received the package in their system.

I'll agree with Mateo - the new site design is atrocious. I've recently been burned pretty hard on the book front with Spectral Press going under with a large amount of pre-order (and pre-paid) books never being printed or shipped, so I am admittedly a bit gun shy at having too much exposure at any single source.

Holy Mountain printing manages to get me the Hell House 7" inside of four days, so I think I'm being fairly reasonable here

Here are some of my experiences:

- 2HD seems to receive new albums a bit later than other larger distros/shops, sometimes even a few weeks later.
- USPS will miss scanning parcels. I have had several shipments fail to get scanned and tracked, but they eventually do arrive. As I mentioned, I had one package from Dusty Groove both fail to get scanned and it took over a month to arrive.

I know this does not address @Mateo's issue, but I have had a half-dozen orders with 2HD, and they have all eventually shown up.

@deafmetal - I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and they are responding to me - hopefully we can track down the shipment.
