The film features an electronic music score and sound effects created by Delia Derbyshire and Brian Hodgson recorded at Hodgson's Electrophon studio in London. No mention of the audio source for this 7" release.

I always wanted the OST for The Legend of Hell House, when i read/heard that the masters were lost was super bummed. Hope someone can re-score it and release it via one of the awesome labels (I'm looking at you Waxwork, Mondo, Death Waltz, Ws, etc, etc.)

From the Silva site, it says that the Flame vinyl is cheaper because it has small pits that affect the audio. A couple dollars or pounds extra for a better sound experience is worth it.

Also says on there that 1,500 flame were due to be pressed but only 500 are now available. Not sure if that means that 1,000 were binned or they just gave up after 500 but I'm not going anywhere near it!

Yay for the black version, and hope Silva Screen haven't taken to much of a hit on the flame mispress.

"Double 10" album in gatefold jacket includes 3 songs that were not released on other formats of the soundtrack. One album features songs from the film, including Billie Holiday, Les Paul and other artists from the 1950's. The Billie Holiday track is prominent in the film as Carol receives the record as a gift and plays it multiple times. The second album is Carter Burwell's Oscar nominated score. The 10" size and the labels have been designed to be reflective of the period."
