@bpwlogan, is that Garbage the re-issue or an original. I have the original Simply Vinyl release but I've thought about getting the re-issue.

@Tim-It's the Simply Vinyl edition. I ran across the new pressing when I was on vacation a few weeks ago. It was like $40 dollars. I think it's pressed on pink vinyl too. I might be wrong on that though. It's such a great album. I might consider a newer pressing too.

@Tim-I hear you on that one. I'm surprised the self titled album went so long without a repress. I would think Version 2.0 would be up for one, but who knows.

I have all that were released on vinyl. I imagine they all will be repressed somewhere down the line. Fingers crossed. :)

And loved that trailer. Never seen the movie. But now I am curious.

It's on me if you hate it...but I cant imagine how that would be the case.

Quick few things about the movie, going in:
- Its a very faithful version of Mailer's own novel, which is ace.
- The legend is that they ONLY SHOT ONE TAKE OF EVERYTHING. Think about that!
- Debra Sandlund is ridiculous sexy.
- Penn Jillette is in it as a wife-swapping minister....TRUE!
- It's beautifully shot and scored.
- The cast are all amazing.
- The last line is amazing.
- Wings Hauser is amazing! The director had to tell him to literally sit on his hands, so he wouldnt 'act' with them so much!
- Ryan o Neill was seriously pissed that Mailer didnt cut out the infamous 'O god, o man...' scene. Thank god! Its AMAZING. Youll know it when you see it.
- In case youre not picking up on it...I friggin adore this wild, bizarre, wicked, profane, hilarious movie!

Spinning the Madison Square Garden Long Goodbye box set in honor of the big LCD Soundsystem reunion show at Coachella last night. I stayed up until 4am to see the whole thing on the festival live stream. They snuck a verse of November Rain into New York I Love You and also covered Bowie's Heroes; amazing set all around. Fingers crossed they get one of the headline slots at Austin City Limits Fest. Underworld absolutely murdered as well. Those fucking kids had no idea the gift they got in that show... Too busy listening to utter shit like "Louis the Child"
