Stelvio Cipriani - Effetto Azzurro - soundtrack to documentaries made by the Air Force. 80s jazz-funk but not too cheesy plus some synthier stuff like the first part of "In Alto," and it can be found for a cheap price. One track "Cavalieri Del Cielo" is a restyled version of Tentacles.

Another Nelson IMarc 4 library added to my collection.
This is one of the later, but still good, Nelson lps. Although technically not on Nelson but Silver Music. Also one of the best in the series.
Tracks are arranged by Santany aka Ramolo grano.

Been after this for a while, came with a generic sleeve though :( so anybody with a spare sleeve please hit me up :D

@milliondollars that Gianni Safred is awesome!

Can't say I'm thrilled with this "VG+" copy, but it is one hell of a library. Best Octopus label I've heard yet.

@texasvinyl: really like that Octopus. the cover of your copy looks like it has been sucked in by an octopus, too. but mine does not look a lot better, haha!

***edit***
it looks like the cover has a big tentacle imprint on it...

@Dollarhyde: these nelsons are prety hard to come by... do you still need 1009?

yesterday i played this beauty. such a perfect record for the springtime.

never managed to get a cheap original Deneb and this is why i like St Germain Des Pres so much. they are cheap and fairly easy to find and the pressing qualiy is outstanding. i abused the label several times as a substitute for some rare first pressings i never managed to get original copies of, haha!

@milliondollars

I have 1001, 1004 (both first pressings), 1005 ( I think second press, brown but thick hard laminated sleeve), SM 2001 ( listed on discogs under label Silver Music but still Nelson) and SM 2002 ( same as above but listed under Silver Men).

There are at least a couple I'm still after 1002 (another of the labels best, the bossa one ;) and a couple more.

I don't have any sgdp, Prima vera is on my wants list though good to hear they are a quality label.

Admittedly this has too much of a "1980 JC Penny's dressing room background music" vibe in a bad way, but there are a couple of decent tracks like 'Diabolic Chase'

nice!! not heard that before. I see thats the lp with the track slow and dreamy on it, proper cheese but kind of infectiously catchy.

Nice little 1969 comp on Odeon. Jazz, big band, soul-jazz and bossa themes by Pisano, Calvi, Intra, Romano etc

And the thing is, I know I could get them on amazon later on. But I kind of wanted the download codes for these.

The Dindi Bembo Orchestra Lp is a surprise, it's the one I'm most looking forward too.

I've been listening to that at work today and it is superb. Easily one one of the best library records I've heard.

I noticed that too. I can only think fees have increased via Bandcamp which may explain why the recent Cinedelic releases have been sold through their standalone website. Just a guess though. It didn't stop me from picking up five of the Sonor releases though, I find the digital files a real pull for me. surprised how quickly they've sold actually. I'm thinking that some of the 500 get sent to sell via other websites (soundohm for example).
