@Dollarhyde-You won't be disappointed. The mastering is awesome, on top of that the pressing quality is as good as it gets. I don't think a black pressing would give this release any more justice. It's a tough one to take off the turntable. I'm on my fourth side right now.

@bpwlogan

I nearly grabbed a copy when I ordered the terminator but picked up a long overdue copy of Only God Forgives. Will definitely grab a copy at some point. I may have seen rococop more than any other film, when I was a kid I could recite the dialogue to the first half hour or so of the film.

@Dollarhyde-I was a big fan of the film growing up too. I sill watch it a couple of times a year. The film has aged really well. I really think it's one of the best films ever made. I guess being a kid growing up in Detroit at the time the film was released helps too.

bpwlogan wrote:@deaf-thanks for posting an opinion for The Terminator so fast. I'll probably just wait and see if a black or transparent is released in the future.
I hope it's just my copy with the audible noise defects, but I wanted to give a heads up. I also just bought the Revenant on colored/hazey vinyl from Milan and it sounds almost perfect in comparison, but The Terminator has a lot more color mixing going on in the vinyl. Just so you know, I usually listen to vinyl with studio headphones for the most part.

Robocop is excellent. My copy on the the gray/swirly vinyl sounds perfect as well. Also, the latest gatefold sleeves from Milan are huge! I can't even fit these last two in the ultimate outers from Sleeve City. I will have to get some oversized ones.

This one is a stunner. I'll agree with @deaf, great job from Brad Fiedel and Milan Records. The whole thing is top notch!

I waited to post this till I got through all 4 sides but I'll say my copy is pretty quiet. It did have a loud tick/pop for about 5 rotations in the middle of side 2 which was a bit annoying. Side 4 was probably the worst for surface "swooshing" noise. I did clean mine before giving it a spin so that may have helped. (Everything gets a cleaning before going on the platter, new and used.) Side 2 and 4 will probably get another cleaning. Overall, I am very pleased. I have been moving back to black vinyl because colored vinyl got to be too noisy for me. I've gotten black vinyl that sounded way worse than this.

@deaf, I've had vinyl get quieter after a few plays. I hope that is the case for you. This is a relatively quiet score at times so I can understand how noisy vinyl could be distracting.

You can't tell from the cover, but it's Multicast Dynamics "Outer Envelopes" LP. It's on the Denovali Records label, which I like a lot. Many of its releases have a cinematic quality to the music. One of my favorite releases so far this year is Ricardo Donoso's "Symmetry" release, which was three of his older releases (three CDs or four vinyl -- I opted for the CDs because I could get them for $18 total, while the vinyl was $100 total). His work reminds me of Cliff Martinez's material at times. Anyway, I think many of you would like some of the releases from this label. Check out Donoso and Ensemble Economique.

@tim123456789 You have a rocket science TT,what is that?
It's an original Aries 1 from VPI. I've had it for over 16 years now and I still love it.

dig the soundtrack. one of very few blind purchases i have made during the past year. really expectad less from this record so i am pleasantly surprised. don't know why but reminds me of Turkey Shoot somehow. unlike Bloody Moon this is really something you can listen to.

anyone heard the last porn soundtrack they released? Dreamdance or something like that...
