Better a late reply than never heh ? I would recommend their 'ANTHROPOPHAGUS' album, it's amazing, and I really like their 'Hollywood Necronomicon' album, and thirdly, their ''rare tracks' lp compilation.

Receive today, first spin is done, I love it, this LP is whack

Now spinning this compilation. it's not all good, there's a track on side C I just dislike very very much, but side D, man, cool stuff.

Yeah I might have used the wrong expression. Maybe I heard "whack" used in the context of something being very cool here in Montreal. French is my fist language, english second. Feelings is insanely good, fuckin' great grooves.

I'm now spinning this. really bad resolution (pixelated) on the covert art. The tentacles' suction cups are embossed, there's no insert, no extra except for a hype sticker on the shrinkwrap. so very standard package, but sounds nice.

So have I mentioned how utterly fantastic and epic this score is. I never saw the movie but this score makes me want to see it, even if it was a flop. This reminds me of John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith when they both were at the top of their form. Released by Music On Vinyl it has 1hr 45min of music spread over 2lps. You can hear it on Spotify and can be picked up for just $15 from importcds on Amazon. A no-brainer!

@Nathan - I had no idea your first language was French. I usually read "whack" in this context:

Feelings is such an inspiring LP. Music lover's music.

@Tim - I went to see Jupiter Ascending with my family, and our 12-year-old girl loved it. I felt it was "kiddie" sci-fi. Fun, but a bit difficult to take seriously. I will have to revisit the score as I don't remember much about it.

Last spin of the night, I'm giving a first spin to this vinyl I stumbled upon while digging the crates of a local store, a couple weeks ago. Blind buy because it's Egisto Macchi.

It's been a long wait for this one.
ImageBixio * Frizzi * Tempera - Magnetic Systems

I believe this was teased almost a year ago, and I have been watching the release date continually get delayed since last summer. The two tracks from Roma, L'Altra Faccia Della Violenza are wonderful surprises and totally new to me. I will be checking out that OST right away. I will write a full review for the album thread. What a great first listen!

The Terminator is mind-boggling. It is a treasure trove of symphonic delirium, jagged rhythms, burbling alien noises, industrial machine percussion, and absolutely beautiful lead synth themes. I am stunned with the breadth of the material in this release. There are many different rad variations of the main theme interspersed with all manner of different soundscapes. Brad Fiedel was beyond inspired with this creation. Quite a monumental achievement to see all of this being released on a double-LP.

While the color vinyl looks pretty damn neat, especially along with the shiny sleeve artwork, there is some surface noise evident during the quieter parts on my copy which is a bit distracting. That said, I am still really happy to have all this material on vinyl. If there is a repress on black or a single color I will probably pick up another copy to try and get the best sound possible.

@deaf-thanks for posting an opinion for The Terminator so fast. I'll probably just wait and see if a black or transparent is released in the future.

If anyone still hasn't picked up Robocop, don't hesitate. One great pressing from Milan Records!
