Dug out Park Avenue on Duse label, not my favorite. There is a Discogs review from a guy saying "every track is a masterpiece" (coincidentally same guy is listing it for 10x market value!), but I find the late 70s sound pretty cheesy in most parts. The color effect on the cover art reminds me a bit of Roma Bene (a much better record than Park Avenue!!)

@Texas - Agreed, I don't feel it's some of his best work. Also, what's up with that French shop putting those stickers on the LP sleeves? Have you seen that OG copy of Il Corpo with three of those stickers randomly stuck on the sleeve? What in the eff.

@deaf, Editions Montparnasse 2000 was the French library record label that put out the Janko Nilovic records. There seems to be some level of crossover between French and Italian library stuff (for example the April Orchestra series), so my guess is the copies like this Park Avenue with the Montparnasse 2000 stickers were stock copies of the Italian releases kept by the French label. But who knows, the mystery is part of the fun :) I have a few Italian records with these stickers, most imported from France not Italy

I had little idea what to expect, but there are some great tracks here as well as some silly/cheesy ones. I like Condor, Sharks (of course the shark one is the best!), Hawk, Whaling, and Albatross. These are much moodier and darker/more suspenseful than I imagined.

This is Volume 2 of Animals

Shark songs are always the best. Something else strange I find is that I always seem to like track 9 the best on the majority of my albums. It's completely ridiculous I know, but more often than not, if I'm really enjoying a song on an album, it's track nine.

@Texas: haha! it's so funny because I had the same record in my hands already. this record has made it arround the world a few times aready. i recognized the busted bottom right corner from your image. a while ago i negotiated a bargain price with the seller but he sent me a totally wrong item describtion and i was not happy with it so i returned it.

@million the seller ERNYALDISKO definitely overgrades, I am surprised you returned this copy though. There are a lot of marks on the disc so I was concerned with the condition, but it plays clean. I previously bought the Risonanze series from them, and those discs arrived very dirty but cleaned up nicely after a good cleaning.

Vincenzo Tempera - Piano Piano on EMI. Mostly elevator music, a couple decent loungy jazz tracks, but this LP is all about the psych funk track called "Ansia"

There is a 7" with cooler cover art, but it's harder to find and costs a lot more than the LP

@texasvinyl: i was not satisfied with the condition plus and i have a copy already. like is said, we negotiated a crazy bargain price so i thought i give it a try and keep an extra copy for trades...

Alright dudes, @texas and @milliondollars some killer hauls both of you have bagged.

Curious to see your other Hong Kong finds @milliondollars.

On a side note @scojo, many thanks for TMWFTE homemade OST, not spun it yet but the package is a beauty. I love the choice of cd case, the design also is very classy looking.
