Say what you will about the film PROMETHEUS, but that score is pretty killer so good for that
more Frizzi from DW is always a good thing

- Prometheus? Stoked! I also enjoyed the score, and will refrain from debating the merits of the film itself.
- Dead Ringers? STOKED! The more Howard Shore back catalog on vinyl the better!
- Assassinio Al Cimitero Etrusco? Wow... I was already pumped for Frizzi's Contraband on Death Waltz. Cometa released this one on CD a few years back, and it's an interesting one.

Also, keep bringing the DWO. :)

I loved Prometheus! We watch it all the time. Have the WBYK Mondo print in the studio. Soundtrack will be nice to keep nearby!

I loved Prometheus as well.....even with the characters acting dumb as fuck a lot of times. I thought is was visually stunning and the score was great....you could see what Ridley Scott wanted to do even if he didn't get it completely right like he did with Alien.

Yes, I enjoyed Prometheus and I am patiently waiting for the sequel since the end of the movie is where it began to become very interesting. Fassbender as the robot was great and Noomi Rapace the chick that played Elizabeth is my bitch, she went through hell and back in that movie.

Since this seems like a "safe place", yes, indeed, I also really enjoyed Prometheus. I am glad to hear some others feeling the same way. Try claiming that on any other forum and you are likely to get nuked from orbit. The opening sequence could have been released as a short film and it would probably win awards. The titles sequence also looks incredible in 3D. I also agree with the comments on Fassbender and Noomi Rapace (I think she's dreamy). While not a perfect film, I felt it delivers some great entertainment.

I look forward to revisiting the score on vinyl.

Yeah the cesarean scene is the most visceral body horror scene from the last couple of years. I loved Prometheus, even though it is flawed. I think the score was not so memorable as a standalone listen but I'd revisit it.
