Home Alone is up, for anyone interested in that. I am surprised they are shipping a Christmas album in January rather than delaying the pressing to November '16.

@texaswax: haha! you are right. it seems like Waxwork have similar 'problems' with their christmas releases.

great score but i am still not sure whether i like the cover art or not, much better than the original though...

Lol I didn't even see the note on waxwork (in giant, bold red font) about the January date. That sucks! Oh well, we can probably blame rsd black friday.

I finally caved and ordered Christmas Evil and SNDN from Mondo, and they shipped it quickly, so I'm all set for Christmas this year. Also, a local theater is screening SNDN this Saturday night.

The Home Alone cover could be worse....it could be a Stout. Seriously though, as much as I like Williams , the Home Alone score doesn't resonate with me as a stand alone listen and I don't need the Christmas songs. On another note my Halloween 2 & 3 albums were delivered today ( why I kept waiting to stumble upon originals is beyond me) so it's Halloween in Dec.

On the off chance, you need convincing, there are some samples on Modo's Soundcloud page that'll do the trick. I will be snapping this up with The Quickness.

The Poliziotteschi Files is up on the webstore. I had an issue where it was saying ''sold out'' for 2 minutes but then it became available. Weird. Phew. Got my copy.

Sold American! Cash on the barrelhead.

I'd be a fibber if I said I wasn't as excited for this release as I've been for any DWRC drop in some time. Absolutely electric cuts on this LP, and near-impossible to find.

Cynic/Rat/Fist is the same thing as Violence! on CEM, of which a few dead stock copies were found and put into newly printed jackets in the last couple of years.

I don't think Roma A Mano Armata has been previously available except for a Beat Records CD, a couple of tracks on a Dagored Micalizzi comp and one on a Plastic Records poliziotta comp called Piombo Rovente, unless maybe it's ghastly rare

A great double bill release! I love how Death Waltz has become one of the premier giallo and Italian labels.

Great info, Tex. I missed out on the Violence drop last year, but this will do me nicely.

I love the cover of The Poliziotteschi record. And lisiting to the Soundcloud clips: absolutely fantastic tunes... I really want this one. But it will cost me 55 euro's... And that is a bit too much for me at the moment.
This is the year of frugality!

Anyways, great job Death Waltz! Great release.

But one thing, why advertize this is as never before released on vinyl when half of the record was releases previously? And is still for sale: http://www.cometaedizionimusicali.it/vi ... -order.htm

@Bezulsqy - There was a mistake in the email newsletter, but it was posted elsewhere correctly that only Rome Armed To The Teeth was being released for the first time on vinyl. I believe it was just an editing error and nothing else.

I got it from the description on the Mondo website. The album is still available thankfully so I can purchase it at another time. It isn't a big thing at all. Was just wondering.

Hail, Caesar! Is dropping tomorrow and, for those who don't know, it's a lovely score to a lovely film. I'm a bit surprised Mondo are doing this as the movie hasn't been a particular success nor was the score a very sexy release in the way that O Brother was for example. I'll be supporting this choice with a purchase. I have been listening to the score on Spotify on and off since I saw the film a few weeks back.

I really enjoyed that movie. might consider picking up the score as it really did have some great moments to it. and that Fred Astaire pastiche with Channing Tatum was a showstopper.

I've noticed a few older Mondo releases popping up for pre-order. Some represses in the works?

I've noticed both The Visitor and Jurassic Park, though the former at least is still available from a lot of places (I picked it up myself only 3 or 4 weeks ago).

If you're on the lookout, it might be worth a quick search of preorders.

Glad to hear a rave review (of the film) from a reputable source - I'm pretty darned excited myself.
