I bet it'll be on Forced Exposure soon. I've gotten the past few Dagored releases through them without a problem. Experimedia also carries Dagored, but it isn't listed on that site yet, either. However, Experimedia updates its catalog on Thursdays.

Two Headed Dog doesn't haven't yet, either. My guess is that they'll all have it available for pre-order soon.

Anybody picked up this 3LP collection of post 2000 Tangerine Dream material ? I know we mostly listen to the old influential Tangerine Dream scores on these boards, myself included, but this collection is not too expensive, the music is quite nice, The package itself is underwhelming, I don't really like the cover, and it's a single jacket, no insert, one white disc, one red, one blue.

I bought the new Doxy Cinedelic pressing of Seven Samurai as well. It's the same tracklisting as the previous Doxy release. why they released a first version under Doxy and a second one under Doxy Cinedelic ? I have yet to listen to it to compare sound, but my guess is it's gonna be pretty much the same. Here's a big booboo they did though : they used, for the center label image, a picture taken from the movie ''SWORD OF DOOM''. Did they know they were using a picture that's not from the Seven Samurai movie ? Yes ? No ? in Both case that's very poor work. That, and the fact that a lot of people talked about the poor work done with Psycho... makes me less inclined to buy Doxy releases.

oh my god, its not even like a subtle screen shot from sword of doom...thats't the most enduring image from that film, its the damn cover of the criterion release for crying out loud.

I saw this in the store the other day, but having also been soured by Doxy comments on these boards I gave it a pass. that type of shoddy thinking thought really gets me.

@Dollarhyde - That teaser track off Akriliko is sounding nice on the ears. I'm also curious about Daydream by Orchestra Cometa. Everything I have picked up from Cometa has been gold.

@deaf

Yep you're right, it's sounding pretty good, is that some frizzi style mellowtron choirs I can hear going on there?

Excuse my crappy spelling. As deaf said Akriliko by Brugnolini, alessandroni and teimar.

I remember seeing daydream crop up in ebay library auctions in the past I dont know how consistent it is but it was always described much as that clip sounds, funky stoned beats.

Just copped butterfly 3 and daydream and will hopefully add akriliko to that order asap.

@Dollar - It sounds like a real choir to me, but I can't really tell from the sample. I definitely get an overall Frizzi-vibe from the piece. It is probably what caught my ear so well. So much great material was created during this time in Italy.

Hey guys !

anybody heard about the soundtrack to the movie SYNCHRONICITY being released on vinyl ? It was released on digital by Lakeshore records. the listing on amazon.ca appeared last night and it's already available and should ship today, it is listed with the format ''LP Record'' but the name of the item doesn't have the mention ''(vinyl)'' that other vinyl soundtrack listings have. it's also very cheap, at 17$USD on amazon . com 15$CAD on amazon . ca . I don't see any news when I google it, on a vinyl release for this. So I'm thinking it's a mistake and I just ordered a CD...

I contacted amazon customer service and the agent checked for me and said it's a vinyl, not a CD. Will let you guys know when I receive it if amazon made a mistake in the listing.

I'm disappointed that Mondo didn't get the licensing for this. The art they revealed at MondoCon was sexy.
