Is it $50 good? These prices...(this one I think partially due to being a french import)
I read somewhere that it is a so-called "grey release" where it is a bootleg, but one that never had an official release of any kind.
@texas and @mateo
You may be right, although it doesnt seem too shady. There is a copyright and contact details and studio address and remasterering details on the back, although brief. No liner notes but comes with a nice a1 poster from the movie and promo postcard. It sounds like the source material wasnt perfect but the remastering is solid, no digital download :(
Maybe try and check some clips before importing.

Death Waltz dropping the double funky brass hammer!

No bullshit thick black wax with a gorgeous gatefold sleeve. Great artwork on the inner gatefold. Sounds incredibly clean, and is putting a big smile on my face this morning.

Damn those pesky flippers!

Found this article that explains things a little

Excellent and very eclectic library LP reissue from Cometa. A mix of upbeat drum break tracks, and some lovely much more relaxed numbers. Top-notch jazz-funk sleazy listening.

@Spun - The Umberto track on the Three Sisters EP is my favorite.

RE: Micalizzi 2LP

Sequence 04 on The Cynic, The Rat, & The Fist is a lovely funker... I know I have heard this elsewhere, and I'm not finding it on the Cometa LP. The DW album looks to be expanded/different when compared to the original. Any Micalizzi experts?

@deaf... hard to choose between 'em, but have always had a soft spot for the Vercetti Tecnicolor remix:

https://diskoobscura.bandcamp.com/track ... olor-remix

... the treated guitar line at the beginning reminds me of something from goth rockers The Mission/Sisters of Mercy

Hope Death Waltz do some more poliziotteschi stuff... for example, this on vinyl:

To be honest they could keep releasing LPs like this mixed in with some classic giallo and 80s synth scores and ... job done!

@Spun - Fair enough. :) I am on pins and needles waiting for that VT cover of the Blade Runner theme to arrive. It is one of the best things I have heard in a while in the electronic realm.

Onward and upward! Enjoying a full day working from home where I get to spin some wax while doing so.
