I pre-ordered T.H.H.E. tape from LITA. I'll order the black vinyl LP after the holidays if it's still available.

I hope tape releases become more frequent just because they're more affordable! I prefer vinyl but having multiple options is always welcome.

Always makes me laugh, there's 2 variants that technically both sounds cool but normally everyone only specifically wants one of the 2 (ie in this case the GITD one!)

i mean, i'm sure the GITD one will be really awesome, but i have GITD records, and i personally am not a huge fan. it's just kind of a gimmick. the pressing usually sounds a bit rough. that being said, i'll take either one. the sooner the better.

I was traveling the last 2 days and just ordered 2 of the vinyl and 1 cassette from LITA. I must have missed the "body bag" version of the cassette, oh well.

I have to agree with Layne about glow vinyl, it sounds pretty crappy IMO. I got the glow and green of Re-animator and the green is worlds better. The glow has has crackle sound almost like static when you turn it up.

I dont own any GITD at the moment (tried to snag a GITD Reanimator but the eBay seller eventually admitted to not actually having one to sell!) so did not know it could affect the sound quality. Will be interesting to hear it move from the glow half to the amber half as it plays, if thats the one I receive that is. Still stoked for the release though.

I don't own any GITD Vinyls at mo (though Ill openly admit Ive always wanted one), but we all know deep down any coloured Vinyl (that isn't black) is part of the buzz of pre-order and that 1st time you unwrap it as part of the asthetic pleasure. After that its all about just how much you enjoy the music
Having said that, I do like how Spence turned this on its head with The Fog release in Black, when you see copies of that going on ebay for upwards of £100 you think 'wow!'
But guess its all just part of what your mind surmises as the best part of any release. I liked the normal Green for Re-Animator and didn't really worry about the GITD. Also, with the Bride of Frankenstein release, I was happy to get the Orange one over the 'Slime green' just cos was getting a bit bored of Green Vinyls and wanted an Orange one for a change!

I have the Re-Animator Glow in the dark, and as I recall, the sound is actually a little bit better than the regular green marble. Maybe because it's all one color...

Will there be a pic of the body bag edition cassetes too when you have pic's available? I have been intrigued about those from day one.
