scrabble, from cmm vol.26 is probably my most favourite library track :) I heard the song long before the famous J dilla track that sampled it . First heard it on the first library comp I bought a long long time ago.

Indeed, represses of the Criminale compilations volume 1 & 2 are up for preorder at Two-Headed Dog, along with two new Library of Sound Grooves compilations: Action Beat & Psycho Grooves and Erotic Vibrations & Bossa Moods. Zoinks!

@deafmetal: yes, there should be originals. as far as i know only some of them were reissued on CD. there was a big Vandroogenbroeck CD box set releases only recently (20+ CD's if i'm correct). i used to be obsessed with him and it is possible that i have all of his records on Coloursound. will check for more soon.

Vandroogenbroeck is definitely recommended if you dig ambient electronics and beyond...

@million - I picked up the Biomechanoid vinyl repress on Aguirre Records. I have also seen Meditations Vol. 1 & 2 out in the distros. Great stuff. The originals are a bit expensive on ebay/discogs.

Anyone already talked/posted about this ? Anyone knows how these albums sound ? Looks like that's something I'll add to the Macchi collection anyway but if anyone has some feedback on the music from these albums please share.

hey Nathan, thanks for the info. great to see Cinedelic to come up with more Ayna releases, not really into Egisto but there are three Ayna releases that i hope to see one day as i doubt i will find the originals one day. as rare as it gets...

I can only assume these are typical Macchi library recordings-- experimental, percussive, brooding compositions which are both strange and meticulous.

These three are ghosts, so it will be fun to hear them for the first time.

I'm super stoked. It sounds like several labels now are in contact with the Macchi estate and also that Egisto kept tape etc, and we are seeing some real treasures.

Is there any question that Cinedelic is the Italian reissue label of the year for 2015? I mean holy shit did Marco put out some crazy stuff this year or what?

Completely agree @Texas. I listen to Il Deserto on a weekly basis. Lovely stuff. Another incredible label for me this year is Sonor. Here's to more in 2016.

pulled this one out last night. what a crazy record this is! probably the craziest on the Sermi label. especially side A is mental. makes you want to dance in the padded cell, haha!

the coolest thing about it is that i got it for free because the cover has a visible damage in the front...

Picked this up recently for $25. Quite a magnificent library compilation with all manner of emotions represented. Some really great "march to war" themes on this LP, but also more fearful and somber moments as well.

@Volzom: i never considered Marce E Marcette a straight war related library, hence i left it off the list. for me it's more a kids or event record. but if you insist on it i will put it in there.

by the way, normal healthy people also don't enjoy slaughter, murder and demented monsters so you can call all people in here perverted folks or just accept our bizzare tastes in music :-) there's nothing wrong with war libraries...
