Armando Sciascia ‎– Violin Reactions (The Roundtable 2015)

One of the best records I've bought the last two weeks. Groovy violin experimental. Just my thing!

Thanks, Deaf. Glad to be back.

He he, Monster, I couldn't help noticing on Discogs that you were one of the 6 owners. I won mine on the bay a few weeks back. Only two bids and I got it for £21.10. A bargain for such a killer.

Thanks, Logan. I'm a big TG fan as well. Nice to see you spinning it. Will never forget my only concert with them at Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen back in 2009. So loud.
I was tinnitus deaf for two days afterwards.

Fantastic record, tracks like "Bidonvilles" and "Terza Eta'" are incredible, and I suspect that is Alessandroni whistling and playing classical guitar on "Lampare"

I highly recommend checking out the Omni/Roundtable reissue which is a new release. This may be my favorite Macchi.

I love the liner note in this release where Cipriani casually mentions he wrote the theme in a day and was scoring twelve films a year.

Anyone know what happened to this label, Vombis? They put out such a nice release with Concorde Affaire with all of the extra tracks, great pressing, top notch Stoughton tip-on gatefold, full color inner sleeves etc, so I was definitely hoping they would put out some more stuff. But it's been a while now.

oddly enough I wondered the same thing about Vombis since this was such a killer release, and then this week on twitter they announced they would be doing Last House On Dead End Street (Harry Manfredini)

Isn't it wonderful that people have different taste in music? To me this LP was hideous. Anything but drug related. More like a family sitcom or something. ;p

@monster that's awesome about another Vombis release. I haven't seen that movie before.

Getting started with pricing out records for the 2016 Austin record show next June. Currently making the mistake of listening to stuff first, of course I want to keep everything once it's on the deck!

Any love for Mike Oldfield? It's kind of like proggy fusion. This is a compilation that starts off with a 30 minute live version of Tubular Bells.

Gah, now i want to keep it
