The source is supposedly Mo from Mondo and supposedly there might be a new variant in the future.

Clear is indeed the most limited variant.
And there MIGHT be another variant coming in the near future.

All I got from Mo is that there might be another variant and it's not sold by Mondo.

And I think are about 3000 colored versions pressed. Clear is still available and a retail that's coming out. Isn't that enough for people to get at least one?

i think its great that the queen vs power loader was pressed in such quantity, and the fact that these releases, especially ones that have high demand, are being made more readily available is a great thing!

I personally don't care if my variant is the most limited version, i just want the ones i think look the nicest, (and yes, sound good too, but i'm not talking about that right now, before that starts up again)most of the time that does tend to be the more limited color, but not always. for example, i though the atomic breath Godzilla was far and away the nicest of the godzilla variant, but the subscriber version was considerably more limited (obviously)

If there were 50 clear and 10,000 Queen vs Power loader, i'd still have gotten the latter, cause thats just such a cool thing.

I think it's great that the most coveted colorways are the ones getting pressed in the highest numbers. Everyone gets a fair shot, things don't sell out in 2 minutes, and above all...it discourages flipping!

If you're so concerned about getting the most limited of limited editions, go for the retail black version. As of late, those have been limited to 500 for most releases. It will probably sound best as well.

I love limited editions as much as the next collector, but people are getting absurd about getting the rare item that's more rare than everyone else's rare item. I've fallen into this trap as well in the past. Now I'm just happy with what I can get, and enjoying the music above all else.

Kudos to Mondo/Death Waltz. This approach shows a true appreciation for the fans, no matter what their vinyl preference, while subtly screwing over the flippers. Thumbs up.

So, I have a dilemma, I'd like to raise some cash and have a few 'special' LP's around, in particular a sealed and never opened Mondo Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus Variant bought when the Dino DNA's went up for sale ( I have a sealed one of those too), anyway, trouble is they sell for £95 approx according to Discogs, I know it's not a 'fair' price but do you think it right to list at that price? What would you folks do? Would you pay that much for it? I'm not a flipper but I obviously want as much as is reasonable as it's for something important. My wallet and heart are at war!

I know I would pay that much if it's a record I really want. But I prefer e-bay or some other auction way to sell a record for a fair price. Because for me a fair price is whatever people want to pay, not what a seller wants to get.

Why not sell it here with the possibility for people to bid? Make a thread to sell it. With open bid replies and a fixed endtime. That way you don't have e-bay fees and still are able to get a fair price while at the same time it goes to someone from here with love for the record/music.
