I'm not sure I have seen a similar 4 x lp set in such a package for less than that.

This thing has taken Mo 18 months to get released , it's one of the best packages I have seen.

That's so damn weird - I was only re-watching Army of Darkness yesterday and thinking "man, someone should put out Jo LoDuca's score, it's killer!" :D

Has everyone caught the Ash Vs. The Evil Dead SDCC panel? Frankly, it's one of the greatest things I've seen for ages, an absolute riot. Bruce kills it.

@Jimmy... yes Zombi Holocaust has been trailered by DeathWaltz for a while (some lucky soul on the forum got a surprise test pressing of it last Xmas), so it's certainly happening - within the next couple of months last I heard.


(BTW - Enjoying the Soundcloud 'megamix' as they used to call 'em back in the '80s - more please)

Personally, I think TLOU could easily be Mondo's best release yet. $75 for a 4xLP with slipcase (and licensing fees) really isn't unreasonable.

Not familiar with the video game. The price is ok,
I think that GTA box was $80ish.

Didn't catch the it earlier, but I'm really excited about Army of Darkness. One of my fav movies.

I had just found the varese cassette on my recent trip to Amoeba.

I loved the videogame and the son of my girlfriend listened to the score a lot when he was doing homework. For me it is not going to be an immediate purchase. Too much other stuff still coming and I need to be selective. Maybe in a year or so I will pick this one up.
The Strange Colour of your Body's Tears is something I'm more likely to buy tomorrow.
Now listening to the Megamix. Love it :-)
Can anyone tell me from what movie the music is just before and after the 7 minute mark?
And can anyone create a track list for this? I am just too new into these scores to recognize or know al lot of them.

Last of Us is probably the prettiest score I have heard from a video game in a really long time. I think the $75 is totally reasonable for 4XLP. I am super excited to get my hands on it. You know what else I am excited about? This Wild in Blue record....fucking amazing. I am a total sucker for 80s soundtrack jams and this just made it to the top of my list. Bravo.

Overall, the Mondo/DW Group is knocking it out of the park....I can't get over how quickly things get delivered these days...I am going to start calling the shipping Mondo Prime! Anyway, if you are being grumpy, go listen to Wild in Blue...it will course through your veins like some fine Colombian.

International shipping is fucking nuts in the states. It costs a fortune to send something overseas. I just sent VZ a box with two 1LP albums and some stickers, and the actual postage cost was just shy of $30 for first class international.

Another problem is USPS first class international (the cheapest option) is only available for packages weighing less than four pounds. Anything heavier gets kicked into a delivery tier like priority international, and those prices are significantly higher than the already-expensive rates for first class international. So I'd totally believe $66 is the actual cost if the box is over the 4 pound cap.

Not that shipping the other way is much cheaper. I think on my last big Italian order the shipping cost and PayPal fees alone exceeded €120! Crazy.
