So i just got a shipment in from Mondo, and included in that was a long wanted DW shirt, (which i am proudly wearing at my office as we speak). I have a bit of a t shirt collection, and i'm happy to say i've got one from all the soundtrack labels I support, but it occurred to me that 90% of my internet time is spent on this forum, and I'd love to have a T with the very cool STBC logo on it.

Anyway, i figured i'd make the suggestion and see who else on here would be interested in that, in case the powers that be (Spencer, Seb..Etc) would be inclined to make them.

Not sure if you have heard of Cavity Colors, but he designed WW first shirt. He has made slipmats and have posted pics of horror LPs. Either way I would be interested in one a well

I like the idea, but I think it would be good for OWS/DW to hopefully benefit from the sale of any shirts related to the site. Perhaps they could receive some profits to help cover the costs of running the site.

Oh yeah, I wasn't suggesting making them, I figured if enough people were interested maybe OWS and DW would produce them for sale. It's their brand. I just want to buy one

I would support a shirt... this forum is full of a bunch of great folks and helped turn me on to a great deal of music I would otherwise not known about.

Soft cotton baseball sleeves with the logo centered on a white background/sleeves black would be sweet, with a small 2x2 inch logo centered below the neckline on the back.

Joking aside, seems like there are some good ideas that I'd definitely support, especially if it would help with the running of the site. I think a t-shirt or tote bag would appeal to most. Great idea.

@spencer, I've seen other forums run an annual fund-raiser kind of thing - either just looking for donations or maybe having a raffle or whatever. I'm not looking to add to your workload, but maybe the site could be funded through an annual auction or raffle, and the labels could put in, e.g. a test pressing, spare posters, stickers, etc? Granted, I have no idea how much these things cost, so it might not be cost effective.

STBC products that are directly related to records would be great, like a STBC record mat or branded record cleaning tool kit.

This forum does help sell records; sometimes I wouldn't have considered purchasing some of the records if I hadn't read some of the enthusiastic comments from other forum members.

There should be a link to go to the record companies directly at the top of the site, which the folks could pay a small fee for...

Despite some of the bitching that goes on here occasionally (usually over shipping), I do feel that there is a nice community feel that comes across, especially with forum members that graciously provide fine content, like the Damn Fine Podcast, artwork, heads-up on releases, trades, etc.
