My experience of Jay and Priv4te Records has been fantastic over the last year or so-great records and great service. It's not happening with Captain Future though. Ordered on release and no response to multiple emails since ordering on release announcement.

@magic it's actually put out by Archival in States and..yes, big difference on bundle price. Mexican Summer has it listed for $45 and I believe Jay has it for 65 euro.

I tried to contact Private about the Black Devil Disco Club by email & Facebook but heard nothing back.

In the end I order the black deluxe vinyl version from a dis cogs seller in Italy who had really good value shipping and a fair price.

I have tried to order from them in the past too, but no responses. They must be mega busy trying to respond to all their emails, must get hundreds! Bit frustrating tho.

@Occhionero yes, and the other times I've tried to order from them too. I have @me.com E-mail address which generally doesn't hit people's junk mail.

I've had some major communication problems with them for sure, which I've mentioned previously in this thread, I believe. It took a while, but in the end, they helped me out though. Contact with Private is definitely spotty, but what you've gotta do is just send them a paypal payment describing what you want, and they'll send it to you. I know it sounds scary, but it seems to work. But then, what if it's sold out? Well, in that case, I must say I don't know!

Well, I got the special edition gold-wrapped pack. Looking forward to spinning these. But - the gold foil part is just that... Gold wrapping paper-type material, that is just wrapped around the records (like a gift) and held together with a "black devil" sticker. It pretty much fell apart and ripped no matter which way I tried to remove it from the records. So... I'm throwing it away! I thought it was a gold sleeve or something. Oh well! I'm sure the records will stilllll sound awesome.

I liked most of the Black Devil Disco Club and didn't much care for the other two.

To open the gold foil intact I carefully cut open the right side

Just ordered "The Pussycat Syndrome" I hope it is as good as Sex fever. I wish there was an option to NOT include a vibrator this time. My copy of Sex Fever had a warp which luckily was not too bad and did not effect play. Hopefully I wont have that problem with this new porn title
